Chapter Fourteen: Convergence in the Upper Heavens

Amidst the vast expanse of the starry river, amidst countless floating islands and palaces, rested a massive continent. On this continent, magnificent divine halls rose up, each exuding an aura of indescribable majesty. Here resided the countless divine generals and divine soldiers of the Heavenly Court, responsible for guarding the divine laws and protecting all living beings.

The Supreme Heavenly Venerable, seated on his golden throne within the Grand Heavenly Palace, looked upon the gathering of divine generals and divine kings below. His voice, though calm, resonated throughout the vast hall.

“The demon realm has been restless of late. Their power is growing, and they seek to break the ancient seal.”

A general stepped forward, his golden armor glinting. “Your Holiness, we have reinforced the seals. The demon armies will not easily break through.”

Another general spoke, his voice firm. “However, they are insidious. They sow discord in the mortal realm and tempt cultivators with dark power.”

The Supreme Heavenly Venerable nodded slowly. “The mortal realm is indeed vulnerable. We must send down envoys to guide them and prevent them from falling into the demonic path.”

A young man, clad in silver armor, knelt before the throne. “Your Holiness, I request permission to descend to the mortal realm. I will ensure the mortals remain on the path of righteousness.”

The Supreme Heavenly Venerable looked at the young man, a hint of approval in his eyes. “Very well, Tianjun. You are entrusted with this crucial task.”

Tianjun bowed his head. “I shall not fail you, Your Holiness.”

As Tianjun departed, the other divine generals continued their discussion regarding the recent disturbances in the various realms. The weight of maintaining order in the vast cosmos rested heavily upon their shoulders. They were the protectors of the three realms, the guardians of divine law, and their vigilance was unwavering.
