Chapter Eighteen
Luo Feng was immersed in his comprehension. When he finally stopped, he noticed it was already dark, and Mo Luosa was sitting there, bored and staring blankly.
“Master, you’re awake?” Mo Luosa said, his face lighting up with joy.
“You’ve been sitting here idly while I cultivated?” Luo Feng asked. “Why didn’t you go explore Huyang City? I was only comprehending laws, not losing my senses! If any outsiders had touched the cave mansion’s array, I would have immediately stopped my comprehension.”
“Eating, drinking, and having fun can be done anytime,” Mo Luosa said ingratiatingly. “But when Master cultivates, I must guard you well; that’s the most important thing!”
“Haha, you’re quite good with words,” Luo Feng chuckled as he stood up. “Alright, let’s go out and sell that Indigo Blood Crystal Flower.”
“Master, which establishment are you planning to sell it to?” Mo Luosa asked, also standing up.
“Of course, the Blazewind Guild,” Luo Feng replied, and they immediately headed out.
A short while later, Luo Feng and Mo Luosa gazed at the majestic Blazewind Guild hall in the distance. Among the vast number of buildings in Huyang City, the Blazewind Guild’s main building was second only to the City Lord’s Mansion in height.
“The safest place in all of Huyang City is this Blazewind Guild,” Luo Feng said. “Even if all of Huyang City were destroyed, this Blazewind Guild would remain unharmed.”
“Oh?” Mo Luosa was surprised, as his understanding of the Origin Continent came entirely from Luo Feng.
“The Blazewind Guild represents the ancient Blazewind Kingdom,” Luo Feng explained. “It was jointly established by several powerful factions within the ancient Blazewind Kingdom, and their businesses span over half of the Origin Continent.”
“Even in wars between divine kingdoms, no one dares to touch the Blazewind Guild,” Luo Feng chuckled. “Because harming the Blazewind Guild is equivalent to slapping the ancient Blazewind Kingdom’s face. The consequences would be severe.”
Mo Luosa understood. “Their backing is truly formidable.”
“No matter what treasure it is, they can buy it and they can sell it!” Luo Feng said. “They are the safest trading partner!”
This Indigo Blood Crystal Flower was enough to make even Eternal True Gods covet it madly. To ensure a safe and smooth transaction, Luo Feng unhesitatingly chose to trade with the Blazewind Guild.
The Blazewind Guild occupied a vast area with numerous buildings, its main hall serving to receive guests from all directions.
As Luo Feng and Mo Luosa arrived at the main hall’s entrance, an attendant immediately came forward to greet them. “God-Lord, please come in,” he said, warmly leading them into a private hall.
“God-Lord, this is Chunmi Wine from the ancient Blazewind Kingdom. Please, have a taste,” the attendant said, pouring the wine. A single cup of this Chunmi Wine would be worth several Chaos Crystals in the ancient Blazewind Kingdom, and it was impossible to buy in Huyang City.
“Chunmi Wine?” Luo Feng picked up a cup and took a sip. He felt a subtly refreshing sensation spread through his soul and consciousness.
“To get to the point, I came here to sell an Indigo Blood Crystal Flower,” Luo Feng said. With a flick of his hand, he placed a wooden box on the long table before them.
“An Indigo Blood Crystal Flower?” The attendant was somewhat surprised; even though he frequently served Eternal True Gods, he was still astonished. He immediately opened the wooden box and saw the seemingly ordinary Indigo Blood Crystal Flower.
*Om.* An array within the Blazewind Guild activated, enveloping the Indigo Blood Crystal Flower in light and instantly completing the appraisal.
“This Indigo Blood Crystal Flower is fully mature, well-preserved from harvesting, and of top-grade quality,” the attendant stated. “According to current market prices, our Blazewind Guild is willing to purchase it for 120,000 Cosmic Sands. What do you think, God-Lord?”
“Alright,” Luo Feng said straightforwardly, nodding in agreement.
He was well aware of the Blazewind Guild’s rules: for treasures valued below 10 million Cosmic Sands, bargaining was generally not allowed. For various rare natural treasures, the ancient Blazewind Kingdom’s headquarters set clear prices based on their grades, and branches had no authority to adjust them.
“Then this Indigo Blood Crystal Flower now belongs to our Blazewind Guild,” the attendant said, carefully putting it back. At the same time, a cyan jade bottle appeared out of thin air on the long table, which the attendant handed to Luo Feng. “God-Lord, this contains 120,000 Cosmic Sands. Please verify.”
Luo Feng took it and, with a brief scan, confirmed it was correct.
“The transaction is complete,” the attendant said with a smile. “God-Lord, is there anything else I can assist you with?”
“I also need to purchase some refining materials. Here’s the list,” Luo Feng said, handing over a prepared list. “The total cost of the materials is 100,000 Cosmic Sands!”
Most of the Cosmic Sands obtained from selling the Indigo Blood Crystal Flower would be spent.
“100,000 Cosmic Sands, all for these materials?” The attendant was greatly astonished. “Most of these materials are relatively common, but if purchased according to the list, the quantity would be enormous. Some might even require entire mountains of ore to be moved. God-Lord, are you certain you want to buy all of these for 100,000 Cosmic Sands?”
“Can the Blazewind Guild gather all of them?” Luo Feng asked.
The attendant smiled confidently. “You needn’t worry about that. Even a hundred or a thousand times this amount, the Blazewind Guild can procure from other regions! As for what the God-Lord needs, our warehouse has ample stock, and it can be delivered in the time it takes to drink a cup of wine.”
“Good, please arrange it quickly then,” Luo Feng said, nodding. “Besides purchasing these materials, I’d also like to apply to join the Blazewind Guild’s ‘Dark Hall’.”
The attendant smiled slightly. “Once you join our Blazewind Guild’s Dark Hall, you can actively post missions, accept missions, and purchase intelligence. As an Eternal True God, you can join the Dark Hall without needing approval or paying any fees.”
As an organization spanning over half of the Origin Continent, the Blazewind Guild naturally dealt in intelligence and bounty missions. All such business was conducted under the name of the ‘Dark Hall’, and it was naturally better to have more clients, so the entry threshold was very low. Anyone with sufficient strength or wealth could join the Dark Hall.
“God-Lord, you’ll need an alias within the Dark Hall,” the attendant said.
Luo Feng thought for a moment and said, “Let’s go with ‘Bladesman’.”
“Alright, your application has been successful,” the attendant said. With a flick of his hand, he handed a communication token to Luo Feng. “This is a Dark Hall communication token. You can use it to contact the Dark Hall in any large city. Whether purchasing intelligence, posting bounties, or accepting missions, all can be done through this token. If the token is damaged or lost, you can come to the Blazewind Guild to replace it.”
Luo Feng took the Dark Hall communication token, noting that it could only be used to contact the Dark Hall.
“Basic intelligence on the various nations of the Origin Continent,” Luo Feng said, deciding to try purchasing intelligence first.
“God-Lord, as you’ve just joined the Dark Hall and are an Eternal True God, you have a credit limit of 1,000 Cosmic Sands,” the attendant reminded him. “However, it must be repaid within one epoch. Otherwise, the penalty will be ten times the outstanding amount.”
“The intelligence I’m purchasing costs 10 Cosmic Sands. Here you go,” Luo Feng said, paying upfront.
At the same time, he was checking a piece of intelligence that had just arrived on his Dark Hall communication token. This was basic intelligence on the various nations of the Origin Continent, including maps and general information about cities.
Luo Feng naturally paid the most attention to the intelligence regarding the Food Nation.
“…The Food Nation has a total of five nation masters…” As expected for basic intelligence, this report only stated “a total of five nation masters” regarding the Food Nation’s rulers. As for what abilities or secret treasures these God-King level beings possessed, there was no record whatsoever.
Luo Feng’s expression subtly changed.
“The Food Nation has five nation masters now?” Luo Feng thought. “When Master Zuo Shan Ke fled to the Cosmic Sea, the Food Nation only had three. The Yu Nation, however, hasn’t changed; it still has five God-Kings.”
“During the time Master was away, the Food Nation grew stronger.”
Luo Feng naturally accepted this. Zuo Shan Ke fled the Origin Continent and spent an entire cycle era in the Original Universe, even nurturing someone as exceptionally talented as Luo Feng. Given the aggressive nature of the Food Nation, it was natural for changes to occur over such a long period.
Three nation masters? Five nation masters? For Luo Feng, who was still only an Eternal True God, there was no significant difference. He himself hadn’t reached the God-King level and couldn’t get involved at all!
“The Dark Hall also has a large number of bounty missions; God-Lord, you might want to take a look,” the attendant said.
Luo Feng nodded. He easily found a large number of bounty missions, including protection missions, mercenary missions, assassination missions, and so on.
“There’s a bounty for killing ‘Mo Lixiao,’ the Supreme Commander of the Huyang Legion?” Luo Feng was surprised to see this bounty mission.
The Supreme Commander of Huyang’s Ten Great Legions was one of the most powerful figures in all of Huyang City. Even the City Lord’s authority might not equal that of this Supreme Commander! Yet, there was still a bounty for him in the Blazewind Guild’s Dark Hall.
“As long as a client dares to post a mission, our Blazewind Guild dares to accept it as a bounty,” the attendant said with a smile. “Even for a God-King, our Blazewind Guild would still post a bounty.”
“The Blazewind Guild certainly has that kind of power,” Luo Feng said, nodding.
*Whoosh.*
Suddenly, a black jade bottle appeared out of thin air, which the attendant handed to Luo Feng. “God-Lord, all the refining materials you requested are here. Please verify.”
Luo Feng took it and looked inside. A vast quantity of materials was piled up like a mountain, and with a single thought, he verified all of them.
“There’s only more, not less,” Luo Feng said, very satisfied.
“For some common materials, we always provide a little extra,” the attendant said.
Luo Feng nodded, then stood up and instructed Mo Luosa, “Let’s go.”
The attendant personally escorted Luo Feng out.

In one of the smaller buildings within the Blazewind Guild, a figure formed of gray mist was leisurely perusing intelligence reports when a burly man suddenly walked in.
“Guild Master,” said the gray mist figure, whose eyes were also misty hollows, looking at the burly man. “As Guild Master, you completely disregard the Blazewind Guild’s affairs and leave everything to this old man.”
“Second Uncle, I’ve troubled you,” the burly man said, immediately offering a placating smile.
“My biggest regret now is agreeing to the Old Ancestor’s request to follow and protect you,” the gray mist figure said. “Who would have thought you’d leave the ancient Blazewind Kingdom and journey for over a thousand epochs without returning! When do you plan to return to the clan? I’m starting to miss home.”
The burly man said, “I plan to return only after breaking through to the Chaos Realm!”
“As a member of the Dighu lineage, with noble blood, you chose not to cultivate the bloodline cultivation method but instead comprehend laws. I knew your ambition,” the gray mist figure said. “When you achieved True Godhood with an ‘Infinite Divine Body,’ without relying on your bloodline, every step for you would be difficult. In fact, most seniors in our clan cultivate their bloodline first, and only turn to comprehending laws when they encounter a bottleneck in bloodline cultivation!”
The burly man shook his head, a hint of disdain in his eyes. “After walking the easy path for so long, how many can suddenly switch to the difficult path and succeed? Those are just mediocre individuals!”
The gray mist figure nodded approvingly. “If you can truly become a Chaos Master by continuously following the path of law comprehension, the clan will certainly spare no effort in cultivating you upon your return.” This was because all God-Kings on the Origin Continent break through by comprehending laws.
“Becoming a Chaos Master is difficult,” the burly figure nodded. “Chaos Laws are far too challenging.”
He was born on the Origin Continent and thus could clearly sense various laws from a young age. Therefore, he only found it increasingly difficult the further he progressed.
Luo Feng was different. In the Original Universe, his perception of laws was extremely vague. So, upon arriving at the Origin Continent, Luo Feng was greatly surprised, feeling that his comprehension of Chaos Laws was progressing rapidly.
“Hmm?” The gray mist figure noticed a new piece of intelligence that had just appeared before him. He glanced at it, then spoke to the burly figure beside him. “Guild Master, a new Eternal True God has arrived in Huyang City and has become a client of our Dark Hall. His alias is ‘Bladesman’.”
“Oh, I see,” the burly figure nodded.
Neither of them paid much attention. As two direct descendants of the Dighu lineage from the ancient Blazewind Kingdom, they were qualified to disregard most Eternal True Gods in Huyang City.

Luo Feng and Mo Luosa returned to their cave mansion.
“I’ll be going into seclusion for some time to cultivate. You’re free to do as you please,” Luo Feng instructed. “Remember, don’t cause any trouble for me.”
“Don’t worry, Master!” Mo Luosa immediately responded enthusiastically.
Only then did Luo Feng turn and enter the underground great hall of the cave mansion. As soon as he entered, the layers of mechanisms in the underground hall closed, and the array sealed it off.
This underground great hall was specifically designed for cultivation in seclusion, but Luo Feng still found it too small. With a wave of his hand, he released the Star Tower.
Luo Feng entered the Star Tower. The Star Tower itself contained vast space, allowing Luo Feng to cultivate to his heart’s content without worrying about causing even the slightest damage.
“Time to begin cultivating the ‘Great Chaos Strength Diagram’,” Luo Feng murmured as he sat cross-legged, beginning his first secluded cultivation session on the Origin Continent.
