Chapter 1178: The Boundary Sealing Array. | Renegade Immortal

Renegade Immortal - Updated on February 27, 2025

In the fathomless expanse of the star-strewn heavens, a breathtaking tapestry of nebulae unfolded, each shimmering with an ethereal radiance. It was a vista of timeless grandeur, a spectacle so vast that the very passage of time seemed to lose all meaning. A profound silence reigned, as though all sound had been swallowed by the relative darkness, scattered to the farthest reaches of creation.

In the distant void, a desolate world drifted, devoid of light, shrouded in the oppressive aura of death. Like an ancient elder on his deathbed, the barren planet gasped its last, exhaling a thick, suffocating miasma. Upon this forsaken sphere sat a solitary figure.

Any mortal cultivator who beheld such a sight would be struck dumb with disbelief, their minds reeling at a delusion so profound it defied even the wildest dreams.

This being was of colossal size, dwarfing even planets. His face, etched with a deep melancholy, was turned towards the infinite distance, lost in contemplation. His skin was coarse and cracked, adorned with countless fissures that glowed with an eerie light, like arcane sigils.

The weight of ages hung about him like a palpable shroud. It was as though he were coeval with the cosmos itself, a being who had witnessed the birth and death of stars, his memory stretching back to epochs beyond reckoning.

The sheer magnitude of his presence, even in repose, exuded an overwhelming aura, a palpable pressure that blanketed the entire starfield. All living things within that dominion trembled in fear, their very souls shuddering before his might. This was the Domain of the Luo Tian, and its myriad cultivators were gripped by a terror that transcended mortal comprehension.

Even the savage beasts of the wilderness were paralyzed, prostrate upon the ground, as though one thought from this being could rend their flesh and offer it as a sacrifice.

He was akin to a god. Eight star-points circled his brow, but only four burned with a vibrant light, the others choked by an abyssal darkness, like withered embers yet to fade to ash.

He was as the sovereign of this domain, the ruler of old awakened from a long slumber, gazing upon his kingdom with eyes that slowly shifted from shadow to bewilderment.

“The Rain Realm holds no trace of him… nor does the Thunder Realm… or the Realm of Lightning. Where, then, is he?” The immense titan raised his head, his face contorted in a savage grimace, and unleashed a roar that shook the very foundations of the heavens.

The cosmos vibrated in response, a thunderous cacophony erupting as the barren world beneath him crumbled to dust. The cataclysmic destruction spawned a maelstrom of debris that swept outwards, twisting the energies of the universe into a terrifying spectacle. Rifts tore open in the fabric of space, spewing forth icy winds that had no effect on the giant as he bellowed into the void. In the wake of his wrath, the wild beasts of the Luo Tian Domain exploded in showers of blood, while countless cultivators choked and vomited blood, succumbing to grievous wounds or utter annihilation!

An invisible wave of sound rippled outwards, engulfing the starfield, causing every celestial sphere it touched to shudder. When the roaring subsided, the barren world vanished in a final, deafening blast. Tuosen, the titan, rose and began to stride forward, his footsteps echoing through the void. The barriers between the Four Great Realms were as nothing to him. It seemed that no force in existence could stay his advance.

His steps were measured, but his size was so vast that each stride carried him across immeasurable distances. Before long, a massive vortex appeared, swirling with mists and energies that led to the Cloud Sea, and it was into this turbulent gateway that Tuosen stepped, leaving the Luo Tian behind.

The instant he entered the Cloud Sea, every sect and cultivator, from the first level to the ninth, felt a tremor in their souls, a visceral shudder of primal fear.

Even the savage beasts within the mists cowered in terror, retreating in disarray. The ongoing war within the Ninth Level, the clash of the beast tides against the fortifications, ground to a halt in an unprecedented moment of silence as the creatures fled in utter dread.

An indescribable force of divine intent, like a raging tempest, swept through the Cloud Sea Domain, forcing the mists to recoil as if in abject fear.

Simultaneously, several divine senses erupted from the Ninth Level, colliding head-on with Tuosen’s own in a silent but earth-shattering clash, a mental thunder that echoed through the Cloud Sea.

Under normal circumstances, Tuosen would have reveled in such conflict, but now, his eyes narrowed with grim purpose. He had searched the Four Great Realms and found no trace of Wang Lin, yet he knew that Wang Lin still lived, for he would have felt the dissipation of his memories and legacy had death claimed him.

“If he is not in the Four Domains, then only one possibility remains!” Tuosen roared. His right foot slammed forward, causing the Cloud Sea to tremble. A vast tear ripped open in the cosmos before him, and into this yawning abyss Tuosen plunged, vanishing from sight.

As he disappeared, several shocked divine senses searched for him, then retreated. Only a few ancient beings and the exceptionally perceptive knew the true cause of the Cloud Sea’s upheaval on that day.

Beyond the Four Realms lay the void, the realm of the Sealed Realm Array. To break through here was to step beyond the Inner Lands and enter the ancient starfields.

Tuosen materialized in the barren void, his face a mask of grim determination as he gazed into the distance. Days had passed since his awakening. His divine sense blanketed the cosmos, but he could not find Wang Lin.

“The Ancient Starfield…” Tuosen mused. His memories were fragmented, but he knew of that place, and vaguely recalled that Tu Si had come from there. Before the Sealed Realm Array…

His gaze pierced the chaotic void, the fog of the Sealed Realm Array. Through the shroud, he saw what was waiting. He saw his homeland…

He knew the answer now. Wang Lin was hiding in the Ancient Starfield! Tuosen’s eyes flashed with cold light. He would have Wang Lin’s power. Only by devouring Wang Lin could he become whole again.

“Even if you hide in the Ancient Starfield, I will find you and devour you! There is nowhere in this universe you can escape from me!” Tuosen roared.

His right hand clenched into a fist, and with a single step the void trembled. Beneath his feet, a complex pattern of seals began to materialize. A web-like array covered the stars, blocking anything from moving between worlds!

As the array materialized, Tuosen’s fist flew forward, landing with the true power of an Ancient God, the power of a King. The blow landed with a thundering rumble. Tuosen was trying to break the array with his own power!

As his fist landed, the void trembled. An apocalyptic rumble echoed across the stars as waves of energy ripped through the heavens.

The void was no longer empty. It was a dense, complex formation of seals. Tuosen was nothing more than an ant standing against its power!

The array was so vast that it was impossible to comprehend, its edges lost beyond the light of the stars. All that could be seen were the streaks of rainbow colors in the distance.

As Tuosen’s fist struck, the array did not move, but a shocking recoil force emerged, striking Tuosen’s fist. Even Tuosen was forced to retreat!

The ancient titan stared at the array with fury. He was an ancient god. The fact that a mere array could stop him drove him mad. With a snarl, he once again lunged forward, his fists like falling stars, his body a force of nature.

The array shook, but it did not fall. No matter how Tuosen attacked, it remained standing, blocking him.

The attack of the array alerted the guards of the Ancient Starfield, and they rushed forward. Before they arrived, the array suddenly began to condense a spirit to combat the attacks.

A blade of white light, quick as lightning, formed a spear that arced toward Tuosen.

The spear moved with earth-shattering speed. Tuosen could only manage to turn his head and raise his arm. He unleashed ancient god power in one final crash.

The spear shattered. But from the broken remains, another emerged. This time, it was much stronger. The spear rammed into Tuosen’s right arm.

Lightning bolts cracked, spreading across Tuosen’s gargantuan body, electrifying the ancient god.

But it was not over.

The seal condensed another weapon.

This time, it was a blue dagger, radiating an aura of extreme cold. It rocketed toward the ancient god.
