Summary: Jiang Wang was born in Fenglin City, Zhuang Country, originally from a merchant family dealing in medicine. His mother passed away early, and later his father succumbed to illness, causing the family to lose all its wealth. From then on, he became impoverished, alone in a life full of competition, striving only to earn a place in the Dao Academy. In the outer courtyard, he fought arduously to claim a top position. Finally, he grasped the key to transcendence, but immediately after… he was poisoned, his friends were framed, and he was forced to conceal himself within a Daoist temple.
At that very moment, as Zuo Guang Lie, a heavenly prodigy from Chu Country, was passing through, he was ambushed and killed. Inheriting his possessions, Jiang Wang successfully took revenge, beginning the long and arduous path of cultivation that stretched before him.
Cultivation Realms
The cultivation realms are divided into nine ranks, beginning with the lowest, Ninth Rank:
Veins Stage Realm (Ninth Rank) -> Zhou Tian Realm (Eighth Rank) -> Connecting Heaven Realm (Seventh Rank) -> Teng Long Realm (Sixth Rank) -> Nei Fu Realm (Fifth Rank) -> Wai Lou Realm (Fourth Rank) -> Shen Lin Realm (Third Rank) -> Moving True Realm (Second Rank) -> Performing Dao Realm (First Rank) => Transcendence.
The Performing Dao Realm is delineated as such: one begins with a lack of Dao quality, then ascends to possessing Dao quality, the level of a Saint, and ultimately strives to approach Transcendence.
Dao quality is achieved by deeply grasping one’s own Dao. The loftier the Dao, the greater the accumulation required for Dao quality to form. This Dao quality surpasses mere Dao rules due to the perfection of those rules, and serves as the very foundation for Transcendence. The Saintly realm grants one combat power that eclipses the limits of the present world. To reach this Saintly level, one must possess both Dao quality and the opportune moment.
