A knot formed in Wang Lin’s brow. “If the Celestial Immortal Venerate is gravely wounded and secluded, then who was the Rainbow Daoist I saw within the Rainbow Realm of Zhaohe…?” He rubbed his temples, pushing aside the swirling thoughts. His gaze drifted to the distant Ancient Immortal Domain, a place of immeasurable distance where four distinct auras pulsed.

In truth, he had sensed these four energies the moment he entered this forsaken land. His journey here was not solely to desecrate the idols; he also sought an audience with the familiar presence among those four.

A realization had begun to dawn within him. He sought out this familiar soul to propose a bargain!

With a resolute step, Wang Lin ventured deeper into the Ancient Immortal Domain.

He traversed leagues beyond reckoning, until a flick of his sleeve unleashed a tempestuous gale. The storm roared towards the ground, descending upon the remnants of the Ancient Three Tribes’ idols scattered across millions of miles.

As the idols crumbled amidst thunderous echoes, Wang Lin pressed onward, his face grim. Within the collapsing statues, he glimpsed the fading forms of recuperating Immortals, hastily retreating.

In the blink of an eye, seven or eight Immortal figures materialized in the distance, their bodies radiating golden light, their eyes burning with fury as they glared at Wang Lin from afar. Yet, none dared to utter a word.

Wang Lin paid them no heed. Once, these beings may have been formidable, but they now stirred no interest within him. Remembering the agonizing struggle to extract memories, he abandoned the notion of soul-searching. He strode onward, allowing them to trail him from afar.

But should any dare to strike, Wang Lin would not hesitate to slay Immortals. He had not yet quenched his thirst for vengeance! Were it not for a certain plan taking root in his mind, these beings would have no chance of survival before him.

As he advanced, four colossal statues emerged before him, each nearly reaching the heavens, appearing as four towering mountains.

Behind these giants, a sea of the Ancient Three Tribes’ idols stretched into the infinite distance.

And within the brow of each of the four gargantuan statues, a vortex spiraled slowly. Wang Lin’s gaze swept across them, sensing within each a powerfully domineering aura.

One of these four energies was intimately familiar. It emanated from the Vermillion Bird!

This aura felt akin to that of the Vermillion Bird Ancestor, evoking the memory of his encounter with the First Generation Vermillion Bird within the Land of Extinction.

“Vermillion Bird…” Wang Lin’s eyes narrowed. The Vermillion Bird aura from the Land of Extinction and the one emanating from within the statue were nearly identical. He understood, in the depths of his heart, that one was clearly a mere avatar!

“Vermillion Bird General, under the Celestial Immortal Venerate, emerge and face me!” Wang Lin halted, hovering in the air as he spoke, his voice calm yet carrying throughout the realm.

He stood there, radiating an aura of immense power, as if the very heavens and earth were bowing before him.

Silence descended as his words echoed. The seven or eight Immortals who had followed him ceased their pursuit, watching with cold eyes.

“Arrogant whelp! You have desecrated countless effigies and slain several of our Ancient Immortals along your path. As a descendant of the Vermillion Bird, such actions are an affront to righteousness! I, White Tiger, shall discipline you in Vermillion Bird’s stead!” A dark voice shattered the silence. From the vortex within the brow of one of the four statues, a white-robed elder emerged. Wrinkles etched his face, and an aura of age and experience emanated from him, stirring the heavens.

In a single step, he left the vortex, hurtling towards Wang Lin. The speed of his advance created a howling wind, reminiscent of a tiger roaring to the heavens.

As Wang Lin watched, a colossal phantom, nearly as tall as the heavens, appeared behind the approaching elder. It was a gigantic white tiger!

The tiger’s eyes burned with fierce light, exuding a world-shaking pressure that revealed the elder’s formidable cultivation at the early stages of the Void Profound Realm.

Wang Lin remained unfazed, his gaze fixed upon the approaching elder. With a clenched fist, he unleashed a powerful blow, colliding with the elder’s form. A deafening roar resounded, shaking the earth and sending reverberations throughout the surrounding area.

Finally, with a cataclysmic boom, the white-haired elder staggered back, his eyes filled with deep trepidation.

Wang Lin swayed slightly but did not retreat, gazing calmly at the elder as he spoke softly.

“If your wounds were fully healed, you might be able to contend with me, but in your current state, you are no match! Take another step, and I will kill.”

Wang Lin’s voice was soft, without the bite of the winter wind or the intent to murder. He merely stated a truth. His words struck the white-haired elder like a thunderbolt. Their earlier exchange was only a test, yet it had shaken the elder to his core, deepening his fear.

But to retreat simply on the strength of a few words was impossible. Gritting his teeth, he prepared to advance.

The moment he took a step, Wang Lin’s calm gaze swept over him, meeting his eyes. That single glance caused the elder’s mind to reel, and he instinctively retracted his raised foot.

The calmer Wang Lin’s gaze, the greater the pressure it exerted upon the elder.

“I have no desire to kill you. In my eyes, this Ancient Immortal Domain holds nothing of wonder. It is merely a refuge for crippled cultivators from the Immortal Astral Continent, who call themselves Immortals and control the ants of the lower realms. It is truly pathetic!

And in my eyes, you are all no more than ants!”

The elder’s face grew even darker. He was not surprised that Wang Lin knew of their origins. He had sensed Wang Lin searching the memories of that Immortal. He had initially sneered, confident in the Celestial Venerate’s seal, believing that no one within this domain could break it.

But he never expected that Wang Lin would truly unlock the seal, access the memories of the Earthly Immortal, and discover the truth about this place.

This was the source of the White Tiger General’s fear. This realization sparked an unspeakable terror within the elder’s heart.

“Vermillion Bird, come forth and face me.” Wang Lin disregarded the White Tiger elder, turning his gaze towards the second statue on the right, focusing on the vortex within its brow as he slowly spoke.

“This is my final warning. Do not force me to kill and search your souls!” With these words, Wang Lin stood firm, calmly watching the heavens.

An invisible pressure emanated from his body, enveloping the surroundings and creating an aura of overwhelming power!
