Within the Five Elements Fire Array, amidst the kneeling reverence of the Flame Giant, Wang Lin remained serene. He strode forward, and the giant, its hands grounded, allowed Wang Lin to step upon them. Slowly, the giant raised its hands, lifting Wang Lin until he stood level with its fiery hair. Without hesitation, Wang Lin stepped off the giant’s hands, landing amongst the blazing locks atop its head.

His right hand rose, a single finger pointing ahead.

With a deafening roar that shook the very heavens, the Flame Giant surged to its feet at Wang Lin’s command. The nine prostrate Qilin around them rose as well, their bodies shuddering, faces twisting into fierce snarls, echoing the giant’s low growl.

From the perspective of the Five Planets cultivators, Wang Lin’s gesture struck icy fear into their hearts, their minds reeling. For in their sight, through the swirling mirror of the formation, Wang Lin pointed directly at them, at every single watcher!

Thus, the roar of the Flame Giant and the growls of the Qilin seemed to be directed at the hundreds of cultivators outside the towering pagoda, and at the four black-robed elders within!

The sudden, earth-shattering cacophony caused many of the cultivators outside the tower to recoil instinctively, faces paling, eyes widening with dread. Some, weaker in cultivation, even coughed up blood, retreating far away to meditate and recover.

Through their fearful gazes, they witnessed Wang Lin standing atop the Flame Giant’s head, the nine Qilin his infernal retinue. With a mighty stride, the giant lunged forward, its arms outstretched in a sweeping arc.

With that single motion, the world of the Five Elements Fire Array shattered!

In that instant of collapse, the scene within the swirling vortex shifted dramatically. Before their eyes now lay an endless ocean, its vastness stretching beyond the horizon. Furious waves rose and crashed, seeming to roar their defiance at the sky.

The sky above grew ominously dark, thick with swirling clouds. No lightning flashed, no thunder roared, yet a torrential rain descended, blurring the line between sea and sky in a deluge that shook the very heavens!

And from the depths of that raging ocean, borne aloft by towering waves, emerged a figure clad in blue armor, wielding a long, blue lance. Black hair streamed behind him, a handsome man of middle years, rising with the surge of the sea.

“The Five Immortals Water General! It’s our Returning Unity Sect’s Water General!”

“The Water General has been in secluded cultivation for years! His appearance means the intruder cannot possibly overcome the Five Elements Water Array!”

“The Water General is a pure embodiment of the Five Elements Water! He is the spirit of the Water Array itself! With him here, the array’s power is amplified tenfold! That despicable invader is doomed!”

The appearance of the Water General breathed new life into the hearts of the Returning Unity Sect cultivators surrounding the tower. Their faces filled with fervent excitement.

An elder, his cultivation at the Intermediate Nether stage, roared to the assembled disciples, “Fellow disciples of the Returning Unity Sect on the Five Planets! We are being challenged by an outsider! We extended the courtesy of parley, but he repaid us with arrogance and unbridled madness! He forces his way through our formation and steals our Five Elements spiritual essence!”

The elder’s voice cracked with desperation, his eyes filled with bitter resentment. “Such a man is nothing more than an invader! We cannot allow him entry! ”

“Indeed! This man is called Wang Lin! I have heard whispers of him! He is infamous for his cruelty beyond the Five Elements Sect! He leaves only devastation in his wake, sparing no life!” another cried out, his voice trembling with rage.

“Just recently, I heard tales of an entire cultivation star! The Teng family was slaughtered to the last man, woman, and child, all because Wang Lin desired some trinket they possessed! Blood flowed like rivers!”

“Furthermore,” another shouted, “I recall that our revered Elder Nado encountered this Wang Lin as he was slaughtering innocents and defiling cultivators! Nado intervened, showing mercy and sparing his life, believing his cultivation was hard-earned. But Wang Lin, ungrateful wretch, grew in power and now invades our Five Planets! He claims to seek Elder Nado, but in truth, he intends to destroy our Returning Unity Sect!”

“This shameless, depraved fiend must be stopped! To slay him is to deliver countless souls! Fellow disciples, we may lack his individual strength, but we are numerous! We are legions to his single form!”

Repeating the words, more and more believed the tales, and focused on Wang Lin filled with hatred.

Wang Lin was unaware of the shouting, and even if he knew, he would not care. He moved past the fire array and found himself in the water array. The rain fell upon his skin, and he found himself facing an ocean. In the middle of this body of water, stood the Water General.

As he stood in the front of the Water General, the latter spoke first: “Wang Lin!!” At Wang Lin’s, he saw the Water General rise up into the air, while all around waves crashed, the sea frothed, and the horizon began to darken with rain and cloud.

Around Wang Lin, four water walls rose up, towering, completely boxing him in.

At the same time, the Water General yelled, and held his spear up and lunged towards Wang Lin, the weapon forming a blue arc. Behind him, the sky darkened, and rain came down with greater ferocity, forming a spear of water, and launching it.

It was too fast. The nine Qilin had left their master and lunged, but they were soon swallowed by the waves.

Wang Lin was soon hit, and everything was covered in water.

When Wang Lin was completely submerged, the rain spear thrust down.

All that was left was the crashing waves, and the standing Water General.

“Is that all… here, I am the water, and in this array, I am a god! Your flames… you’re not enough.” the Water General said.

The soldiers shouted to show their support.

“Water General, nobody can beat you! That fool’s flame is weak and small, and will be extinguished!”

“Water General is already third tier! This invader can’t resist it!”

The Water General stood tall and pointed his spear down.

“Wang Lin, you are nothing. Come out.”

As soon as he said this, the water began to shake, and began to reach for the sky, blocking the Water General’s vision. The General tried to move backwards.

At that moment, an icy voice reached his back.

“I’m here.”

The Water General turned around, his face changed, as Wang Lin stood behind him. Wang Lin raised a hand and with it touched the Water General. This act immediately released an ancient power that wrecked and shattered the Water General’s internals, sending him flying.

The Water General’s armor cracked, but it held. It released an internal life force, to stop the damage.

Wang Lin raised an eyebrow and walked out.

“Interesting armor… your power isn’t enough, but with the armor, you’re at the third tier… but it has a large flaw… you control the armor, the armor is the one controlling you.” Wang Lin’s eyes were bloodshot, and the world was different, and he could tell the secret.

The Water General heard this, and his face contorted into terror.

At that moment, the black haired Xuan Luo was smiling, on the outside of the planet, on the outer ring, watching everything.

“His name is Wang Lin. Good. Very good. This armor is well known in the Immortal race. He can see the flaw, how impressive!”
