As the words were uttered, the black-clad warrior and the white-robed youth moved with blinding speed, hurtling directly towards the Realm of Luo. The power of Luo, a crippling force to most allied cultivators, held no sway over them. Instead, it bolstered their strength. They charged forth, immediately erecting arcane shields and unleashing divine protections.

With gritted teeth, the venerable Lie Yunzi tapped the War Talisman once more. His spiritual essence flowed into the artifact, and another of the fifteen Luo blood orbs shattered. A crimson avatar emerged, intercepting the ancient elder who descended upon them from a rogue celestial body.

At that moment, a gargantuan, thousand-foot-tall demonkin lumbered through the star-strewn void. Every Rotian cultivator who dared to stand before him, if deemed insignificant, was seized by his immense hand. With a deafening roar, he crushed them to pulp, devouring their remains without a second thought.

This monstrous demonkin possessed a cultivation base at the peak of Yang Solidification. However, his physical might was beyond compare. As a result, his absorption of celestial essence dwarfed that of ordinary cultivators. Though only at the Yang Solidification level, he could easily contend with those in the early stages of Soul Transformation.

Moreover, his corporeal form was nigh invulnerable to even the most potent magical artifacts. He stormed towards the great tree, his gaze fixated upon Lie Yunzi. There was no clarity in his eyes, only a maddening haze. “He intends to self-destruct!” whispered a melodious voice near Wang Lin, belonging to the palace-clad woman. She watched the rapidly approaching giant with a grave expression.

Wang Lin nodded, glancing at Lie Yunzi’s nascent soul, which was evidently in the throes of restoration, preparing for another blood avatar manifestation. It was paramount that he remain undisturbed.

However, Wang Lin found it hard to believe that Lie Yunzi had no further trump cards up his sleeve. Yet, this was not the moment for probing. As the thousand-foot demonkin drew ever closer, Wang Lin’s eyes flashed. Calmly, he declared, “I shall handle this!” With a single step, he moved forward, meeting the onrushing titan head-on.

The palace-clad woman offered a gentle smile. Despite the raging battle, her composure remained unshaken. She tucked a stray strand of raven hair behind her ear and addressed Wang Lin with a playful tone, “Be careful, Daoist Xu.”

Stepping off the giant tree, Wang Lin emerged from the peculiar force emanating from the tree’s southern edge. He was immediately assaulted by the thunderous clamor of battle and the cacophony of screams. As the thousand-foot demonkin approached, his enraged bellow was like a sonic boom, washing over him.

The demonkin strode forward, his pace quickening. A destructive aura of madness intensified around him. In an instant, the giant was upon Wang Lin, right fist clenched, striking forward with earth-shaking force. “Begone!” he roared.

The wind pressure from the incoming fist buffeted Wang Lin, but despite its strength, he did not yield an inch. His expression remained ice-cold as he retaliated, throwing a punch of his own without hesitation.

The sight was surreal. The titan’s fist was colossal, while Wang Lin, in comparison, appeared insignificant as an ant. His own fist was practically invisible next to the giant’s.

Yet, as their fists closed, an earth-shattering rumble reverberated through the cosmos, growing louder and more intense, as if heralding the momentous impact.

The fists drew closer, the deafening roar drowning out all other sounds. Nearby combatants could only feel a persistent ringing in their ears.

Time seemed to slow to a crawl as their fists met. In that instant, a cataclysmic explosion erupted!

The sheer force of the impact reverberated through the battlefield, shaking countless cultivators. A tangible shockwave spread outwards, pushing aside those caught in its path.

Many warriors were forced to break off their engagements, their faces etched with shock as they turned to witness the clash between Wang Lin and the colossal demonkin.

The giant shuddered. An incomprehensible surge of power surged through his arm from the minute fist of his opponent. He spewed a mouthful of blood as a series of explosive sounds emanated from his right fist. In mere moments, his entire right hand detonated, scattering flesh and gore.

With a pained cry, the titan was driven backward by an unstoppable force.

The collapse of his form did not cease. Under Wang Lin’s Ancient God power, even a demonkin could not endure. Not only did his arm disintegrate, but the majority of his body followed suit.

Madness intensified in the demonkin’s eyes. With a final roar, he unleashed a wave of destructive energy from within his core. In that moment, he initiated his own self-destruction!

The force of a Yang Solidification peak self-detonation was substantial. When amplified by the demonkin’s hardy form, even Wang Lin had to frown.

Wang Lin’s face flushed slightly. His eyes, however, grew colder. After forcing out a mouthful of blood in a move to dispel any suspicion, he formed a hand seal and pointed to the heavens. “Summon the Winds!” he declared. Instantly, a gale of black wind materialized from his fingertips. It swept outwards, transforming into an endless tempest. Within it, two black dragons emerged, lunging at the giant and engulfing him. They unleashed an infernal wind that could extinguish the flame of life.

The Winds Summoning technique was formidable. The impact of the dragons forced the demonkin further and further back. Soon, the two black dragons devoured the titan whole, vastly diminishing the power of his impending explosion. BOOM!

With a final, resounding blast, the thousand-foot demonkin detonated. The shockwave rippled outwards, drawing the attention of everyone nearby, even veteran warriors engaged in their own battles.

Wang Lin, his face pale, staggered back onto the great tree, feigning injury. In truth, slaying a thousand-foot demonkin was no challenge for one who possessed the blood of the Ancient Gods.
Upon the colossal tree, the woman in palace robes chuckled. “The abilities of Fellow Daoist Xu are truly admirable. Especially that fleeting art which tempers the flesh—utterly astonishing!”

The nascent soul of Lie Yunzi, his eyes now open, displayed open admiration. He nodded once, saying nothing.

Instead, he gestured towards the second battle-character scroll beside him. Instantly, a torrent of divine will poured forth, merging into its depths.

In that instant, within one of the fourteen spheres of Luofu blood, a new transformation occurred. It rapidly contracted, yet without collapsing, congealing into a crimson-shadowed blood-figure. Bearing an aura that seemed to twist the very blood within one’s veins, it strode forth, directly approaching the Alliance elder locked in combat with another blood-figure and the white-robed youth upon the distant cultivation star.

Far away, the woman in the azure Luosilk dress frowned deeper. Her jade hand gestured, and two more towering giants, each a thousand zhang in height, stepped forward with earth-shaking strides. One made directly for the Luofu formation above.

The other charged straight towards the ancient, towering tree! As the giant demon kin approached, the elder atop the cultivation star they carried aloft took flight. Forming a hand seal, his right hand pressed down upon the void!

Immediately, the cultivation star positioned between the elder and the giant demon kin began to spin, emanating ripples that spread in all directions. The elder intoned a low chant, and in an instant, he thrust both hands forward, bellowing, “Stellar Resonance!”

At his command, the cultivation star rose even higher, its rotation accelerating with each moment. Yet, as it spun, it abruptly shrunk, contracting to nearly half its original size in a fleeting breath.

Simultaneously, a scarlet wave erupted from the cultivation star, hurtling forward with unimaginable speed at the elder’s direction.

The crimson wave moved with blinding swiftness. Upon impact, some of the Luotian cultivators caught in its path trembled violently. In a heartbeat, their very essence, including their storage pouches, disintegrated into nothingness.

The wave surged towards the ancient tree. Upon it, Wang Lin’s face shifted, while Lie Yunzi’s eyes blazed with intensity. “Xu Mu, Ziyan! Disperse at once! Each fight your own battles, and do not protect this old one!”

Even without Lie Yunzi’s command, Wang Lin had already reacted. As the words left Lie Yunzi’s lips, Wang Lin was already retreating with haste, bursting through the layers of the ancient tree. With a single shift, he teleported far, far away. The woman in palace robes did likewise, vanishing from the scene.

In the very instant the two departed, the crimson wave crashed against the ancient tree, sweeping along its bark.

Wang Lin, weaving through the chaotic battlefield, desperately dodged the scarlet wave. Yet, the entire area was a maelstrom of conflict. The moment he materialized, an Alliance cultivator swept at him with a sword.

Ice flickered in Wang Lin’s eyes. He did not dodge. As the flying sword struck his body with a resounding clang and was deflected harmlessly, he spun and unleashed a finger strike!

That strike carried boundless power, imbued with the might of the ancient gods. It landed directly upon the chest of the unsuspecting assailant. Horror bloomed in the man’s eyes as he tried to retreat, but his body exploded into a gory spray. His nascent soul, filled with terror, fled, only to be seized and crushed by another Luotian cultivator in the distance.

The Luotian cultivator, his face twisted with bloodlust, glanced at Wang Lin, licked his lips, and rasped, “Xu Mu, shall we compete once more? To see who can slay the most?” This Luotian cultivator was none other than Xu Ting, the inferior-grade Thunder Immortal!

Wang Lin remained composed, his voice calm. “If we are to compete, it would be better to see who can slay that woman!” Wang Lin pointed towards the azure-robed woman in the distance.

Xu Ting paused, his expression shifting between uncertainty and grim determination. He gritted his teeth. “Very well, let us compete in that! We will strike together! Let us see who succeeds!”

The woman was clearly of high status, or she would not be commanding this grand battle. Yet, her cultivation was not exceptionally deep, seeming only to be at the mid-stage of the Prying Nirvana Realm.
