Twenty-third Chapter: Doctor and Patient

The old man remained silent for a while, observing Doctor Hua’s expression carefully. After a moment, he slowly said, “Please, Doctor, help me. I’ve always been healthy, but lately, I’ve been experiencing this strange ailment. It comes and goes, and when it’s here, it’s truly unbearable.”

Doctor Hua nodded, his expression calm and professional. “Please describe your symptoms in detail,” he said. “Tell me everything, no matter how insignificant it seems.”

The old man took a deep breath and began to recount his experience. He spoke of sudden dizziness, a tightening in his chest, and a peculiar sensation of coldness spreading through his limbs. He described how these episodes would strike without warning and leave him feeling weak and disoriented.

Doctor Hua listened intently, occasionally asking clarifying questions. He examined the old man carefully, checking his pulse and observing his complexion. His movements were precise and deliberate.
