## Chapter 5: Azure-Violet Blood Crystal Flower

The land was vast and desolate, echoing with the roars of strange beasts and the cries of exotic birds. These sonic waves rippled outwards, laced with various destructive energies. A moment of carelessness could mean being caught in their wake and losing one’s life. Even True Gods in the wilderness had to tread carefully, lest they attract the attention of some terrifying monster.

*Whoosh!*

A spatial ripple tore across the sky, marking the passage of Luo Feng, his servant Moro Sa, and the jade tiger. They were traversing the void, charging straight towards Hu Yang City.

“There’s an Eternal True God.”

“It *is* an Eternal True God!”

From afar, the roaring beasts immediately plunged into the depths of lakes and rivers, terrified. The swarms of whistling avian beasts soaring through the skies darted away, leaving a desolate and silent path in the wake of the spatial ripple!

No beast dared to utter a sound.

“All the beasts have fallen silent.” A True God exploration team watched the receding spatial ripple from a distance, filled with envy and admiration. “To dare to be so blatant in the wilderness… it must be an Eternal True God.”

“If only I could become an Eternal True God in this lifetime…” one team member sighed wistfully.

“Chan Muhe, you dare to dream big! My ambition is much smaller. I would be content just to settle down in Hu Yang City.”

“Hu Yang City? That’s a large city! It costs one Chaos Crystal to reside there for one Epoch. Can you afford it?”

The group of True Gods chatted for a while before continuing on their journey.

Luo Feng’s flying group continued to charge ahead, paying little heed to anything.

“Is this how Eternal True Gods travel?” The jade tiger savored the experience. “In the past, when I left the city, I was always cautious, concealing my aura. This unrestrained, carefree flight is truly exhilarating!”

Luo Feng and Moro Sa, however, were observing the Origin Continent.

Previously, their knowledge was only from intelligence reports. Now, they were seeing it with their own eyes. The towering mountains that stretched for hundreds of millions of miles, the rivers that seemed to have no end, the unfathomable lakes, and the various bizarre creatures… both Luo Feng and Moro Sa found it all novel and intriguing.

The beasts were exceptionally perceptive, sensing the approaching ripple from afar and scurrying to hide themselves.

“Quite alert.”

Luo Feng did not bother to capture these weaker beasts. Firstly, each beast possessed unique talents, making them difficult to catch. Secondly, these weaker beasts held little value and were not worth his effort.

“Honored Master, ahead lies the lair of an Eternal True God-level beast,” the jade tiger pointed towards the distance. “The beast is called the Horned Serpent. It is skilled at burrowing. The Hu Yang City military has besieged it numerous times, yet they have never managed to capture it.”

“Horned Serpent?” Luo Feng’s heart stirred.

An Eternal True God-level beast held considerable value!

He had arrived on the Origin Continent penniless. Unwilling to sell his own precious treasures, he naturally needed to find ways to acquire resources.

“Maintain your Void True God aura. Don’t scare off the Horned Serpent,” Luo Feng transmitted his instructions.

“Yes, Master.” As a perfect divine body, Moro Sa could perfectly conceal his true essence, having maintained a Void True God aura since their arrival. As a world beast, he needed to maintain a low profile on the Origin Continent. With enough time and energy, he would eventually reach his peak.

Luo Feng, on the other hand, needed sufficient tempering to grow stronger.

Luo Feng, Moro Sa, and the jade tiger slowed their pace, concealing their auras as they approached the Horned Serpent’s lair.

Deep within the distant mountains, a massive, golden single eye vaguely glimpsed Luo Feng and his companions. Instantly, Luo Feng felt the spatial pressure increase billions of times. Space began to distort, and the surrounding rocks and trees silently turned to dust.

Luo Feng’s divine power naturally reacted, resisting the terrifying pressure and shielding his companions.

“Eternal True God, what brings you here?” The immense Horned Serpent peered at Luo Feng from deep within the mountain, its thoughts conveyed with a mixture of apprehension and warning.

*Whoosh.*

Luo Feng ignored the serpent and instead hastened his advance towards the mountain.

“Have the guts to chase me if you dare!” the massive Horned Serpent transmitted, before vanishing without a trace.

Luo Feng halted. He could sense that the Horned Serpent’s aura had already penetrated deep into the earth, and was continuing to burrow even further.

“Earth escape?” Luo Feng frowned. “The time, space, and even matter of the Origin Continent are incredibly stable. Even for me, digging into the earth is difficult. This Horned Serpent vanished in an instant. It must have mastered some source of law related to the earth.”

“Master, shall we pursue it?” Moro Sa asked.

“We can’t catch it,” Luo Feng shook his head.

He had mastered the Source of Life and Destruction, while Moro Sa specialized in the avenue of destruction. Both of them were more adept at direct combat. Their understanding of ‘earth escape’ was quite ordinary.

“These beasts are truly remarkable. Although their intelligence is limited, they naturally master the Source of Laws by virtue of their bloodline. Some of the most exceptional beasts even possess the strength of a God King due to their bloodline,” Luo Feng marveled inwardly.

“Master, this Horned Serpent is truly timid,” Moro Sa remarked.

“It is somewhat cautious,” Luo Feng chuckled, noting how it had fled into the earth upon perceiving his presence from afar.

“It’s not entirely their fault,” Luo Feng said. “These Eternal True God-level beasts only possess such strength due to their innate bloodline abilities. The cultivators of the myriad races, however, have mastered secret techniques, wield powerful weapons, and even comprehend the essence of the laws. At the same level, Eternal True God-level beasts are generally no match for Eternal True Gods. That’s why so few dare to confront Eternal True Gods head-on.”

“But if one dares to engage in direct combat, it is no ordinary Eternal True God-level beast,” Luo Feng added. “Among the Eternal True God-level beasts, there are occasionally those of extraordinary power.”

Beasts of extraordinary power for their level usually possessed a more specialized bloodline, making them even more valuable – potentially worth ten or even more times that of an ordinary beast. Luo Feng anticipated encountering such a beast.

“Hunting Eternal True God-level beasts is still difficult,” Luo Feng shook his head, deciding not to waste any more time. “Let’s continue on our journey.”

Eternal True God-level beasts typically resided in environments suitable for their innate bloodline talents, making them exceptionally skilled at escaping.

*Whoosh.*

Luo Feng and his two companions once again sped towards Hu Yang City.

Deep within the mountains, two Void True God teams were locked in a brutal battle.

“We are Team C-1 of the Nine Banquet Pavilion in Hu Yang City. We are only here to collect ingredients. Please show some respect,” a rock-based lifeform struggled to defend himself. His team had originally consisted of a hundred members, but now, all the True God members were dead, leaving only three Void True Gods to desperately fight back.

They had never expected that a relatively safe task such as collecting ingredients could be so dangerous.

The ten shadowy figures surrounding them showed no mercy, coordinating their attacks to annihilate them swiftly.

“You show no mercy, even though we are enemies for no reason. Then you’ll have to drag one of them down with you.”

“Fight!”

The other two Void True God members were already driven to madness. One of them unleashed golden wings, and a terrifying wave of energy exploded outwards.

“Your speed is too slow,” a deep voice echoed.

The three Void True God members of Nine Banquet Pavilion’s C-1 team were in a frenzy, but as the deep voice sounded, their bodies silently disintegrated, even their souls dissolved, dying instantly! Only their equipment remained.

“Lord Commander, it is our incompetence,” the ten gray shadows said respectfully.

“Continue,” the deep voice instructed. “Kill all living beings that appear in this area.”

“Lord Commander,” the leader of the shadows couldn’t help but say, “We were ordered to head to Hu Yang City and must arrive by the deadline. Today is the last day of the deadline.”

“Focus on your own task,” the deep voice said.

“Yes.”

The shadow leader dared not say more. The ten shadows silently guarded the vast area, killing any living being that dared to pass by.

Within this vast area, a terrifying force was hidden, concealing the core region.

Within the core region, a green plant was growing, with an azure-violet, crystalline flower blossoming at its top! The flower’s fragrance spread outwards, causing the surrounding energies to become chaotic.

Beside the plant, a black-robed figure sat guard.

“I never expected that after leaving Shi Country to take up my post in Yu Country’s Hu Yang City, I would encounter an Azure-Violet Blood Crystal Flower in full bloom. When the Azure-Violet Blood Crystal Flower is immature, it looks ordinary and shows no special attributes. But once it blooms… the fragrance affects the soul, becoming very obvious. The bloom lasts for about ten days, until it naturally falls off, and only then can it be used as medicine.” The black-robed figure’s eyes burned with fervor. “It is said that the Azure-Violet Blood Crystal Flower can only grow on land that has been soaked in blood during battles of God Kings. This flower is worth at least one hundred thousand universe sand.”

“All my weapons and treasures combined are only worth one or two thousand universe sand,” the black-robed figure’s eyes were filled with desire. “If any Eternal True God discovers it, they would try to take it from me. If it is exposed, the Hu Yang City army will come.”

“There are only a few days left until it naturally falls,” the black-robed figure waited patiently.

He would not allow any news of this place to leak out. Even though he had tried his best to conceal it, he was still afraid that passing beings might discover it, so he would kill any that passed by.

Suddenly…

The black-robed figure frowned slightly, flipping his hand to take out a communication token.

“What is it?” the black-robed figure said.

“Heidomo, why haven’t you arrived at Hu Yang City yet?” a grand, mountain-like voice said, “According to Lord Marquis’s order, today is the last day and you must arrive at Hu Yang City.”

“I was delayed by something, please forgive me, Guildmaster Zanyun,” the black-robed figure said with a light laugh, “There shouldn’t be anything important in Hu Yang City that I need to do immediately, right?”

“Hu Yang City is Yu Country’s Hu Yang City after all. Eternal True Gods have been in short supply in our Shi Country’s branch here,” the grand, mountain-like voice softened, “I won’t report your delay. But you should still arrive at Hu Yang City as soon as possible.”

“Rest assured, I will be there within ten days,” the black-robed figure said.

Soon, the communication ended.

The black-robed figure smiled and put away the communication token. Military orders had little restraint on Eternal True Gods. They were the core of the organization, so minor issues would not be investigated.

“Right now, nothing is more important than this Azure-Violet Blood Crystal Flower,” the black-robed figure stared at the Azure-Violet flower, his eyes filled with infatuation.

Luo Feng was leading Moro Sa and the jade tiger in traversing through space, heading straight for Hu Yang City.

“Hmm?” Luo Feng suddenly looked in a certain direction, noticing a group of mountains far away, a hidden force within the mountains, and a faint hint of azure-violet color.

“A treasure?” Luo Feng’s heart stirred.

There was a great difference between Eternal True Gods.

Divine bodies came in different sizes, the purity of divine power varied, the laws understood were different, and the techniques and weapons all influenced an Eternal True God’s power.

Being a perfect divine body even stronger than an infinite divine body, Luo Feng had a vast, powerful body. Naturally, his sensing range was far beyond that of ordinary Eternal True Gods.

His sensing range and sensitivity reached unfathomable levels. His sensing and control of aura could even reach perfection. Even some ancient beings would have to rely on cause and effect or space and time to see through some of Luo Feng’s truth.

“There should be an Eternal True God hiding there, concealing the aura of a treasure,” Luo Feng’s eyes lit up. “Heavenly treasures are born from Heaven and Earth, and belong to no one. May the worthy have it!”

As he thought, Luo Feng also conveniently stored the jade tiger in his Star Tower.
