“Luo Feng, besides your domain, what else are you good at?” Yuan asked.
“My main strengths are divided into two categories: the physical combat system and the blade technique system!”
Luo Feng began to demonstrate his abilities one by one. The Lords of the cultivator faction were completely open with each other; their paths, inheritances, and combat methods were all shared without reservation.
This openness was due to several reasons. Firstly, they were trusted companions, and a deeper understanding of each other led to better cooperation. Secondly, each Lord’s path was unique. Even if two Lords created the same Primordial Chaos path, the internal intricacies would differ greatly, and the integrated spiritual will would be distinct.
Every Lord had to forge a path best suited for themselves. Luo Feng and the others understood that even a slight misalignment of their spiritual will would lead to failure when creating a Primordial Chaos-level path.
“Techniques from the path of life are generally fierce and difficult to handle!” Jin remarked, watching in amazement. “Your techniques are quite ferocious!”
“I don’t favor purely life-based techniques,” Luo Feng stated. “Pure life techniques are too lacking in offensive capabilities. While methods like life deprivation, infiltration, and erosion can instantly strip world-level Primordial Chaos beings of their vitality, causing them to die with just a glance from me, these methods are far less effective against the Ancestors. What’s needed are killer moves that emerge after ‘life-and-death fusion’.”
“Luo Feng, when the seventy-two Ancestors clash with us Lords, they primarily use long-range methods. Neither side dares to let their true body get surrounded by the other,” Yuan explained. Luo Feng nodded. He knew that once encircled by the enemy, even Lord Wulan would be heavily restrained or even temporarily imprisoned.
“Therefore, you only need to employ long-range techniques during the battle,” Yuan continued. “As for cooperative methods, I’ve already sent a message to everyone, sharing information streams with the seven Lords nearby.”
Luo Feng also received the information stream. Within it, Yuan had simulated detailed combat scenarios, depicting the eight Lords cooperating to confront the seventy-three Ancestors, with numerous battle situations simulated one by one.
“I understand!” Luo Feng nodded. With his current level of life, merely reviewing it once allowed him to extrapolate and deduce many other combat responses. “Luo Feng’s contribution to our collective combat is immense,” Yuan said. “Our overall strength will increase by thirty to forty percent!”
Yuan looked at his companions. “The Ancestors are not yet aware of Luo Feng’s breakthrough. We must seize this opportunity to eliminate several more Ancestors!”
All the Lords present nodded. They were already brimming with killing intent.
After all, they were the highest-ranking beings in the cultivator faction and bore the responsibility of protecting the entire faction. With over a sixth of their territory fallen and countless beings annihilated, how could they not be unyielding and furious?
“Xing Mang, you will take Luo Feng,” Yuan instructed. “Alright!” Lord Xing Mang nodded.
“Once Luo Feng joins the battle and the Ancestors notice, they will immediately dispatch reinforcements. We estimate these reinforcements will take three days to arrive!” Yuan looked at the others. “These three days will be our window to maximize our gains. The infinite Primordial Chaos space is vast; even if the naturally born Primordial Chaos life faction has an Ancestor skilled in spatial-temporal techniques, support will still require three days.”
Three days of travel was already considered fast.
“Luo Feng, shall we depart now?” Xing Mang asked Luo Feng.
“Yes!” Luo Feng nodded. For such short notice, he was as prepared as he could be.
Xing Mang quietly departed from the Primal Land, taking Luo Feng with him.
Luo Feng was arguably the most skilled being in the entire infinite Primordial Chaos space at concealing his life aura. Every trace of his life energy was perfectly controlled, making it difficult even for causal methods to detect him. “At my current life level, each step can cover an infinitely vast distance, much faster than lake teleportation!” he thought. Yet, compared to Lord Xing Mang, his speed was negligible.
Luo Feng could sense his companion’s travel speed. With each step Xing Mang took, countless layers of space-time were traversed. These numerous space-time layers stacked upon one another, creating a sensation of walking on a “map” that appeared beneath their feet.
“So, this is how the most accomplished being in space-time in the entire infinite Primordial Chaos space travels?” Luo Feng watched in awe.
“Each Lord has their own specializations!” Xing Mang chuckled. “I just happen to be good at traveling.”
“This isn’t just traveling; it’s transcending all of space-time!” Luo Feng said, looking down. “Space-time like a map, freely traversable — this ability is truly unbelievable!”
No wonder all the high-level and world-level Primordial Chaos lifebloodlines could be fully collected.
Xing Mang’s ability was indeed terrifying.
“Every Lord is immortal and indestructible!” Xing Mang explained. “We are all beings who have completely transcended. We only endure such hardship because we choose to protect the cultivator faction.” Lords were the most powerful individuals in the infinite Primordial Chaos space. If they were selfish and disregarded the lives of countless cultivators, they would live much more freely.
But their origin worlds had nurtured them, and they had received so much kindness and karma on their cultivation paths; how could they forget?
No matter how powerful they became in their cultivation, they could never forget their origins, their roots.
“We are currently struggling to protect the three thousand six hundred world clusters, with over six hundred already fallen!” Xing Mang said, looking at Luo Feng. “Your talent and potential are no less than mine, but you are different from me; your path excels in combat!”
“To protect a sufficiently vast territory for cultivators, we rely on strength, on combat!” Xing Mang stated. “You must understand, origin worlds exist everywhere, far beyond just these three thousand six hundred world clusters!”
Luo Feng nodded slightly. “I will naturally do my best!”
The three thousand six hundred world clusters were an area within the infinite Primordial Chaos space with a relatively high density of origin worlds, making it suitable for establishing a space-time network. The seven Lords had previously worked hard to guard this territory.
There were also many other world clusters, very remote and distant! For example, one region, even vaster than the three thousand six hundred world clusters, contained only a single world cluster, indicating its remoteness, sparsity, and the difficulty of defending it.
“You’re thinking too far ahead!” Xing Mang told Luo Feng. “Our most urgent task now is to completely reclaim the three thousand six hundred world clusters!”
Xing Mang continued traveling with Luo Feng, and after nearly a day, they finally approached the battlefield.
The battlefield was an infinitely vast void, with the conflict’s scope immensely wide. Origin worlds on the fringes of the battle had been obliterated. The Lords could do nothing about it; they were at a disadvantage in this situation.
Space-time vibrated like boiling water. Within this infinite turmoil, seventy-two terrifying figures unleashed their highest-level powers, which intertwined and cooperated, completely enveloping the seven Lords. The main combat avatars of the seven Lords were struggling to cope.
Fortunately, Yuan’s formations allowed for a qualitative transformation in the Lords’ cooperation, multiplying their overall strength. Without them, the Lords would be utterly unable to withstand the Ancestors’ combined assault.
While Luo Feng’s thirty to forty percent boost to overall strength seemed significant, it was still far less crucial than Yuan’s role in collective combat. Of course, Luo Feng’s current improvement, added to the existing foundation, provided a very noticeable advantage to the Lord’s team.
During his engagement with the Ancestors, Lord Xing Mang even managed to spare power to attack various enemy squads! The Ancestors were infuriated that Xing Mang could divert strength to strike their other forces, indicating they couldn’t force the Lords to exert their full power.
Just then, with a whoosh, space-time warped. Lord Xing Mang, carrying a black-robed, black-haired man, directly descended into the Lord’s team. This avatar of Lord Xing Mang naturally merged with his main combat avatar.
“Hm?” The seventy-two Ancestors instantly noticed the black-robed, black-haired man.
“Who is he?” The Ancestors were all startled, realizing something was amiss.
As soon as the black-robed, black-haired man arrived, a life-and-death domain expanded. Although his domain was quickly shattered and dispersed when it penetrated the Ancestors’ area, within their own area, Luo Feng’s primordial energy rapidly converted to replenish his companions’ strength!
The four Lords who had been injured—Moman, Jin, Minghuang, and Naigu—instantly recovered to their peak condition.
Luo Feng joined the Lord’s team. Guided by Yuan’s formations, he too reverted to his normal colossal size, standing alongside Lord Wulan to withstand the numerous attacks from the Ancestors. The combined assaults of the seventy-two Ancestors, woven from the highest-level powers, descended upon them.
Even after Yuan’s formations initially resisted and weakened the attacks, they still relentlessly struck Wulan’s body and Luo Feng’s massive form.
Above Luo Feng’s body, an invisible energy layer protected him, deflecting the attacks. This protective energy layer was supplied by 1.08 billion units of primordial energy, constantly replenishing itself as it was depleted.
However, some power still managed to bypass the energy layer and his robes, infiltrating his body.
But Luo Feng’s body, in every part, was comparable to one-tenth the toughness of a Star Tower blood scale. Although injuries appeared everywhere, they healed rapidly.
It was clearly visible that Luo Feng’s body surface had numerous wounds, with blood flowing, yet they were continuously healing.
“Luo Feng is holding on!”
His other companions had been worried earlier, as Wulan was blocking more than half of the seventy-two Ancestors’ siege, meaning Luo Feng had to bear the pressure of approximately thirty Ancestors’ attacks. No other Lord could individually withstand such pressure.
Luo Feng’s injuries, superficially, appeared more severe than Lord Wulan’s. However, the injuries were not worsening.
“It’s consuming about one percent of my energy per breath, still within acceptable limits,” Luo Feng thought, somewhat surprised. His energy reserves were incredibly vast, and his body, forged through the comprehension of life-and-death fusion and the insights from the Star Tower blood scales, was incredibly tough. Yet, it was consuming one percent of his energy reserves per breath?
This was after Yuan’s formations and his companions’ domain techniques had already helped weaken the attacks as much as possible, yet the power remained terrifying.
Luo Feng also noticed that Wulan, being larger than him, was trying his best to block more attacks. Wulan’s body, like an origin world itself, sustained very minor injuries, a testament to his incredibly tough physique optimized for defense.
Luo Feng and Wulan jointly shielded the other Lords, immediately alleviating much of their pressure.
The moment Luo Feng appeared, he was completely exposed to all forces throughout the infinite Primordial Chaos space.
Simultaneously, Luo Feng’s avatar in his home origin world began its breakthrough, starting to refine the origin world.
