**Chapter 4: Sitting Mountain Guest ‘Comes Back to Life’**

“After resurrection, can everyone gain eternal life?” Xu Xin asked.

“Yes,” Luo Feng nodded.

“What about the number?” Xu Xin pressed.

“For me, there’s no limit,” Luo Feng said with a smile.

A massive wave of emotion surged within Xu Xin. As Luo Feng’s wife, she managed numerous affairs in the Milky Way Holy Land Universe, and she was acutely aware of how many problems “eternal life after resurrection, with no limit on numbers” could bring.

“We’ll need to set a threshold for resurrection,” Xu Xin said. “Otherwise, the sheer number of resurrected lives will severely disrupt order. As time passes, this group will continuously expand, and with their endless descendants, the impact will become increasingly severe.”

Eternal life after resurrection was a great joy. However, if not handled well, it could lead to endless troubles.

“There’s no need to worry about affecting order,” Luo Feng smiled. “For the resurrection list from the original universe, I will create a brand new original universe specifically for them! They will live within this new original universe, enjoying the favor of the rules and possessing ‘eternal life.’ However, they will still need to cultivate step by step, from planetary to star level. If they are capable enough to become ‘Void True Gods’ and brave the reincarnation cycle to enter the Origin Continent, that will be their own ability.”

Among those resurrected, how many could cultivate from weakness step by step to become Eternal True Gods in the environment of the original universe region?

“Create a new original universe just for them?” Xu Xin’s eyes lit up. This would avoid too many complications, as many of those resurrected held very special statuses, and some even had a debt of gratitude towards Luo Feng!

“In that case, the list can be greatly expanded. Even the vast number of innocent beings who died during the Golden Horned Beast catastrophe could be resurrected,” Xu Xin nodded. Even if all of them were resurrected, it would only amount to the population of a single planet.

One must remember, there would be an entire new original universe for them.

“However, the list must still be screened one by one; those who committed heinous crimes or betrayed humanity would not be eligible,” Xu Xin thought.

“No rush. You should first finalize a more comprehensive resurrection plan,” Luo Feng said.

“If a resurrected person is killed, will they die?” Xu Xin asked again.

“Yes,” Luo Feng nodded. “I can grant them a chance for a second resurrection, but the threshold for that must be significantly raised!”

Xu Xin nodded, knowing this would be a far-reaching matter. Within the Luo family alone, the number of talented individuals who had died, those who had died with merit, or those who had sacrificed for the family and humanity throughout history was already substantial.

“Morosa, I will have my master Di Chu and Sitting Mountain Guest, both of them, work with you to manage the resurrection list for cultivators on the Origin Continent,” Luo Feng said. “The resurrection list for the Origin Continent will require much more caution.”

Beings in the original universe were generally weaker and consumed fewer resources.

The Origin Continent, however, was different. Resurrecting a single being there would consume an unknown multiple of the resources compared to a being from the original universe in the future.

“Understood,” Morosa replied obediently.

“I’ll go find Luo Ping first,” Xu Xin said. With a single step, she traversed vast distances through space and time, heading towards the original universe region. Being able to mobilize a trace of the primal source power of the source world, she could be considered an envoy of the source world! Within the scope of the Origin Continent’s source world, even a God Emperor was far from her match.

Luo Feng watched this scene with a smile; his son, Luo Ping, was the true manager of the Luo family.

With a step, Luo Feng also departed.

“What realm has Master truly reached?” Morosa had many thoughts. Luo Feng had discussed everything with his wife Xu Xin, but he hadn’t told anyone else, nor had he told Morosa.

Morosa only knew that his master had become unbelievably powerful, capable of elevating the ‘mistress’s’ strength to a terrifying degree, and able to resurrect all life within the cage?

“I’ve heard that only the master of a source world can resurrect life within it. Is Master the master of the source world?” Morosa wondered. In earlier years, he had gained some knowledge about realms beyond the cage.

Luo Feng also had a resurrection list in his heart.

It comprised those who had shown him kindness throughout his journey from weakness! As long as someone had shown him a certain degree of gratitude, Luo Feng was willing to grant them a chance at resurrection, along with their most cherished loved ones.

“The Fire Hammer Squad, the teachers who once taught me, the comrades who fought alongside me in the wilderness, and the companions who died in the Golden Horned Beast catastrophe—” Each of those figures remained unforgettable in Luo Feng’s heart.

For those who had shown him kindness, Luo Feng would not only resurrect them but also provide them with certain resources to make their cultivation path smoother.

In a secluded small town on the Origin Continent, Sitting Mountain Guest lived in seclusion.

He was refining artifacts alone.

Flames rose, illuminating Sitting Mountain Guest’s face as he gazed at them with fascination. For him, being engrossed in cultivation and artifact refining allowed him to forget many things.

“Master,” a voice resonated.

Sitting Mountain Guest startled, then turned his head, his gaze piercing through the quiet room to see the black-robed, black-haired man in the cave dwelling.

“Luo Feng!” Sitting Mountain Guest no longer cared about refining artifacts. He immediately stopped and stepped out.

“Why have you suddenly come to see your master?” Sitting Mountain Guest asked with a smile. In this world, this disciple was his closest kin.

“I’ve come today to tell Master some good news,” Luo Feng said with a faint smile.

“What good news?” Sitting Mountain Guest asked, smiling, though inwardly he felt no particular stir.

“Your disciple has cultivated to an extremely high realm,” Luo Feng stated. “Now, all beings within the Origin Continent’s source world! As long as they haven’t transcended the cage, every being that has ever existed in history, your disciple can resurrect them!”

Sitting Mountain Guest felt his mind explode.

All of them could be resurrected?

“Every being that has ever existed in history?” Sitting Mountain Guest couldn’t help but press for clarification.

“Yes,” Luo Feng nodded. “Including Master’s relatives and friends, any one of them can be resurrected!”

Overwhelming emotions flooded Sitting Mountain Guest’s mind at that moment. Ecstasy? Disbelief? Unbelievable? Was it real? Was this a dream? Sitting Mountain Guest looked at Luo Feng, and from Luo Feng’s expression, he confirmed—his disciple’s words were true!

His disciple, Luo Feng, could truly do it!

“How many can be resurrected?” Sitting Mountain Guest couldn’t help but ask. “Can it be ten, or twelve?”

“Master, you can create a list of up to ten thousand individuals,” Luo Feng said. “Once the list is finalized, I can resurrect them immediately.”

With a single thought, Luo Feng perceived the past of his home source world, knowing that there were indeed several thousand beings truly important to his master, Sitting Mountain Guest! So, he rounded it up, granting ten thousand slots.

“Good, good, good,” Sitting Mountain Guest said, looking at Luo Feng. Tears streamed down his face, tears of joy as he smiled. “After the destruction of the Jin Kingdom, I only had one obsession: revenge. I never imagined that the disciple I met in the original universe, not only could help me achieve revenge but could also resurrect my dearest relatives and friends who had already died.”

Luo Feng could sense that before killing the Lord of the Shi Kingdom, his master, Sitting Mountain Guest, was filled with hatred and solely focused on revenge.

But after his revenge, his master’s heart seemed to have died.

Until today!

An incredibly potent vitality, that strong excitement and joy, appeared in his master. His master had ‘come back to life’; his heart had lived again. As a disciple, this was the happiest sight for Luo Feng.

“This is the list.”

Sitting Mountain Guest was, after all, a God King, and he finalized the list in a matter of seconds.

Luo Feng glanced at the ten thousand names. Each name was connected to one of the ten thousand figures from the past in the source world’s river of time. Luo Feng knew the karma between each of them and his master.

“They are resurrected.” With a single thought, Luo Feng brought these tens of thousands of figures from their past timelines to the present!

The rules of the source world, if ownerless, would cause a temporal backlash that would erase anyone attempting resurrection on the Origin Continent. But now, the source world’s rules operated with Luo Feng’s will at their core, so there was naturally no backlash.

“Hm?” Sitting Mountain Guest saw them. He saw ten thousand figures appear within the cave dwelling: his former master who had taught him, many of his fellow disciples, his lifelong sworn friends—and the love of his life.

Sitting Mountain Guest stared blankly at the figure that had haunted his dreams. Had she truly returned?

These tens of thousands of figures were all somewhat confused at the moment. Most of them had died during the catastrophe of the ‘destruction of the Jin Kingdom’, while some had died even earlier.

“What’s going on?”

“Where is this?”

“I’m not dead?”

Their memories were still stuck at the moment they were killed.

Sitting Mountain Guest could no longer hold back and walked towards his senior sister.

Luo Feng smiled and then vanished. This was not the time to disturb his master and his reunited loved ones.

In the border region of the Cultivator Territory.

Dust Stone and Broad Imperial, two inspectors, were sent by Lord Luo Feng to meet with the Blood Crane Territory and Omino’s forces, respectively.

“Omino’s forces, they’ve already retreated?”

The horned man, Broad Imperial, was very surprised.

He carefully inspected the twelve world clusters previously occupied by Omino. Omino’s side had fully retreated, though they had plundered a considerable amount of resources from the vast territories. However, many source worlds and myriad-square worlds had not been significantly damaged.

“Omino’s forces are notoriously slippery. They bolt at the first sign of trouble,” Broad Imperial shook his head slightly. “They completely withdrew right after the war between the two major factions ended.”

Omino’s forces were, in fact, very difficult to deal with.

After all, they were once ranked among the top three in the Infinite Chaos Origin Space. Even after their complete decline, the two remaining ancient beings were still formidable! While they hadn’t achieved absolute immortality, they were incredibly powerful and possessed extremely potent life-saving abilities. Yet, they were also very cautious, fleeing at the slightest hint of danger and never easily risking their lives.

“I must report this to the Lord immediately,” Broad Imperial said, feeling quite pleased.

The other inspector, Dust Stone, however, encountered trouble. The Blood Crane Territory’s forces acted far more domineeringly than Omino’s.

“You, a mere junior, dare to speak to me? Have your Lord come to see me personally!” a condescending voice echoed throughout the surrounding vast space-time.

The bald man, Dust Stone, glared angrily, “Even the Natural Chaos Origin Life faction fought against us and ultimately lost! You, a mere Blood Crane Territory, are ungrateful for my Lord’s benevolence in offering you a chance to withdraw voluntarily? I will certainly report this truthfully to my Lord!”

“A mere world-level Chaos Origin, daring to be presumptuous before me!”

Accompanied by a cold snort.

The bald man, Dust Stone’s avatar, trembled slightly and disintegrated into dust. As he turned to dust, Dust Stone still gazed indifferently at the faint, distant phantom.

“What can the Cultivator Lord do to me?” The phantom showed no fear whatsoever. He had seized this territory; did they expect him to return it with a single word? Where would such a good deal come from?
