“After being resurrected, will they all gain eternal life?” Xu Xin asked.
“Yes,” Luo Feng nodded.
“And what about the number?” Xu Xin pressed.
“For me, there’s no limit,” Luo Feng said with a smile.
A huge wave of realization swept over Xu Xin. As Luo Feng’s wife, she managed many affairs in the Milky Way Holy Land Universe and understood very well the potential problems that “eternal life after resurrection with no limit on numbers” would bring.
“We need to set a threshold for resurrection,” Xu Xin said. “Otherwise, the multitude of resurrected beings will severely impact order. Over time, as this group continuously expands, and their descendants multiply endlessly, the impact will become increasingly severe.”
Eternal life after resurrection was a joyous event, but if mishandled, it could lead to endless troubles.
“Don’t worry about impacting order,” Luo Feng said with a slight smile. “For those on the resurrection list from the Primal Universe, I will create an entirely new Primal Universe just for them! They will live there, favored by the rules and possessing ‘eternal life,’ but their cultivation will still need to progress step by step, from planetary to stellar levels. If they have the ability to cultivate into a Void True God and enter the Origin Continent through reincarnation, that’s their capability.”
Among those resurrected who cultivate step by step from weakness in the environment of the Primal Universe region, how many could possibly become Eternal True Gods?
“Create a separate new Primal Universe?” Xu Xin’s eyes lit up. This would avoid too many complications, especially since many of those resurrected held unique statuses, and some even had a debt of gratitude from Luo Feng! “In that case, the list can be greatly expanded. Even the vast number of innocent beings who died during the Golden Horned Beast catastrophe could be resurrected,” Xu Xin nodded. Even if all of them were resurrected, it would only be equivalent to the population of a single planet.
After all, there would be an entirely new Primal Universe for them.
“However, the list must still be screened carefully. Those who committed heinous crimes or betrayed humanity would not be eligible,” Xu Xin thought.
“No rush. You should first establish a more comprehensive resurrection plan,” Luo Feng said.
“If a resurrected person is killed, will they die?” Xu Xin asked again.
“Yes,” Luo Feng nodded. “I can grant them a chance to be resurrected again, but the threshold for that must be significantly higher!”
Xu Xin nodded. She knew this would be a far-reaching matter. Just within the Luo family, historically, many talented individuals, meritorious contributors, and those who sacrificed for the family and humanity had already died. Their numbers were substantial.
“Molosa, I’ll have my teachers, Di Chu and Sitting Mountain Guest, work with you on the Origin Continent resurrection list,” Luo Feng said. “The resurrection list here in the Origin Continent requires more caution.”
Beings in the Primal Universe were generally weaker and consumed fewer resources.
The Origin Continent was different. Resurrecting a single being here would consume an unknown number of times more resources than resurrecting a being from the Primal Universe in the future. “Understood,” Molosa replied obediently.
“I’ll go find Luo Ping first,” Xu Xin said, and with a single step, she traversed vast distances of space-time, heading to the Primal Universe region. With the ability to mobilize a trace of the Primal Universe’s core power, she could truly be called an Emissary of the Origin World! Within the Origin World’s scope in the Origin Continent, not even a God-Emperor was her match.
Luo Feng smiled watching this scene. His son, Luo Ping, was the true manager of the Luo family.
With a step, Luo Feng also departed.
“Just what realm has Master reached?” Molosa had many thoughts. Luo Feng had told his wife Xu Xin everything, but not anyone else, including Molosa.
Molosa only knew that his Master had become incredibly powerful, capable of elevating the ‘Mistress’ to a terrifying level of strength and resurrecting all life within the ‘Cage.’
“I heard only a Lord of the Origin World can resurrect life within their Origin World. Is Master the Lord of the Origin World?” Molosa wondered. In earlier times, he had gained some knowledge about what lay beyond the ‘Cage.’
Luo Feng also had his own resurrection list in mind. It comprised those who had shown him kindness during his journey from weakness. As long as there was a certain degree of gratitude, Luo Feng was willing to give them a chance at resurrection, along with their most cherished relatives.
“The Fire Hammer Squad, the teachers who once taught me, the comrades who fought alongside me in the wilderness, and the companions who died during the Golden Horned Beast catastrophe…” Those figures, one by one, were never forgotten in Luo Feng’s heart.
For those who had shown Luo Feng kindness, he would not only resurrect them but also provide them with certain resources to make their cultivation path smoother.
In a secluded small city on the Origin Continent, Sitting Mountain Guest lived in reclusion.
He was alone, refining artifacts.
Flames soared, illuminating Sitting Mountain Guest’s face. He gazed at the fire, entranced. For him, being absorbed in cultivation and artifact refinement allowed him to forget many things.
“Teacher.” A voice sounded.
Sitting Mountain Guest paused, then turned his head, his gaze piercing through the quiet room to see the black-clothed, black-haired man in the cave dwelling.
“Luo Feng!” Sitting Mountain Guest no longer cared about refining artifacts. He immediately stopped and came out.
“Why have you suddenly come to see me, Teacher?” Sitting Mountain Guest asked with a smile. In this world, this disciple was his closest kin.
“I’ve come today to tell Teacher some good news,” Luo Feng said with a slight smile.
“What good news?” Sitting Mountain Guest asked, smiling, though his heart felt no ripples.
“Your disciple has cultivated to an extremely high realm,” Luo Feng said. “Now, I can resurrect all beings within the Origin Continent’s Origin World! As long as they haven’t transcended the ‘Cage,’ I can resurrect all beings that have ever existed in history!”
Sitting Mountain Guest felt his mind explode.
All of them could be resurrected?
“All beings that have ever existed in history?” Sitting Mountain Guest couldn’t help but press.
“Yes,” Luo Feng nodded. “Including Teacher’s relatives and friends, any one of them can be resurrected!”
An incredibly intense wave of emotion flooded Sitting Mountain Guest’s mind: ecstasy, disbelief, astonishment. *Was this real? Was it a dream?* Sitting Mountain Guest looked at Luo Feng, and from Luo Feng’s expression, he confirmed it… his disciple’s words were true!
His disciple, Luo Feng, could truly do it!
“How many can be resurrected?” Sitting Mountain Guest couldn’t help but ask. “Could it be ten, twelve?”
“Teacher, you can make a list of up to ten thousand individuals,” Luo Feng said. “Once the list is confirmed, I can resurrect them immediately.” With a thought, Luo Feng knew the past of his homeworld’s Origin World. He knew that for his Teacher, Sitting Mountain Guest, there were truly thousands of important beings! So, he rounded it up, giving ten thousand spots.
“Good, good, good,” Sitting Mountain Guest said, looking at Luo Feng, tears already streaming down his face, yet he was smiling through them. “After the fall of the Jin Kingdom, I only had one obsession: revenge. I never imagined that the disciple I met in the Primal Universe would not only help me achieve my revenge but also be able to resurrect my dearest relatives and closest friends who had already died.”
Luo Feng could feel that before killing the Lord of the Devouring Kingdom, his Teacher, Sitting Mountain Guest, was filled with hatred and focused solely on revenge.
But after the revenge, his Teacher seemed to have lost his will to live.
Until today!
An incredibly strong vitality, that intense excitement and joy, appeared in his Teacher. His Teacher was ‘alive’ again; his heart had revived. As a disciple, this was what Luo Feng was happiest to see.
“Here’s the list.”
Sitting Mountain Guest, after all, was a God King, and he finalized the list in a matter of breaths.
Luo Feng glanced at the ten thousand names, knowing each one and the ten thousand figures from the past of the Origin World’s space-time river.
“They are resurrected.” With a single thought, Luo Feng brought these ten thousand figures from the past timeline into the present! If the Origin World’s rules were operating in an uncontrolled state, space-time backlash would obliterate anyone on the Origin Continent attempting resurrection. But now, with the Origin World’s rules centered on Luo Feng’s will, there was naturally no backlash.
“Hmm?” Sitting Mountain Guest saw them—one by one, ten thousand figures appeared in the cave dwelling. There was his former teacher, many fellow disciples, his lifelong friends… and the love of his life.
Sitting Mountain Guest stared blankly at the figure he had yearned for in his dreams. She had truly returned!
These ten thousand figures were all somewhat bewildered at the moment. Most of them had died during the catastrophe of the ‘Fall of the Jin Kingdom,’ and some had died even earlier.
“What’s going on?”
“Where is this?”
“I’m not dead?”
Their memories were still stuck at the moment they were killed.
Sitting Mountain Guest could no longer hold back and walked towards his senior sister…
Luo Feng smiled, then vanished. This was not the time to disturb his teacher and his reunited loved ones.
Near the border of the Cultivator Territory.
Inspectors Chen Shi and Guang Yu, acting on Lord Luo Feng’s orders, went to meet the Blood Crane Domain and the Omino faction, respectively.
“The Omino faction has already retreated?”
The horned man, Guang Yu, was very surprised.
He carefully inspected the twelve world clusters previously occupied by ‘Omino.’ The Omino faction had fully withdrawn, having plundered a good amount of resources within the vast territory, but leaving many Origin Worlds and countless other worlds largely undamaged.
“The Omino faction is famously slippery. They flee at the first sign of trouble,” Guang Yu shook his head lightly. “They completely withdrew right after the war between the two great factions ended.”
The Omino faction was actually very troublesome. After all, they were once among the top three in the Boundless Chaosverse. Even after their complete decline, the two remaining ancient beings were still not to be trifled with! Though they hadn’t achieved absolute immortality, they were immensely powerful and possessed extremely potent life-saving abilities. Yet, they were very cautious; they would flee at the slightest sign of trouble and never easily risk their lives.
“I must report this to the Lord immediately,” Guang Yu said, in quite good spirits.
The other inspector, Chen Shi, however, encountered trouble. The Blood Crane Domain acted far more domineeringly than the Omino faction.
“You little squirt, are you even worthy of speaking to me? Have your Lord come see me in person!” a condescending voice echoed through the vast surrounding space-time.
The bald man, Chen Shi, looked furious. “Even the Innate Chaos-Born Life faction lost when they waged war against us! Your puny Blood Crane Domain, our Lord is benevolent enough to give you a chance to withdraw voluntarily, and you’re still ungrateful? I will report this exactly as it is to my Lord!”
“A mere World-level Chaos being dares to be so insolent before me!”
With a cold snort.
The bald man ‘Chen Shi”s clone trembled slightly and turned to dust. As he disintegrated, Chen Shi still looked coldly at the faint, distant phantom.
“What can that Cultivator Lord do to me?” The phantom showed no fear. He had seized this territory; how could he possibly give it back just because of a single word?
