Chapter 391: Giant Axe! Welcome to the New Era! | Swallowed Star 2: Origin Continent [Trans]
Swallowed Star 2: Origin Continent [Trans] - Updated on June 29, 2025
In the Source World of the Origin Continent, Yán Fēng and Léi Tíng emerged from their secluded cultivation, following a karmic connection that led them directly to Hù Yáng City, where they intended to visit Mólí Sā.
“Luó Fēng has become a Lord?” Yán Fēng and Léi Tíng were still deeply agitated, their emotions unsettled. Just moments before, in the Dark Saint Realm, they had witnessed the arrival of a group of high-level Primal Chaos beings. Led by Chéng, these beings declared that the entire Dark World Cluster was now the absolute territory of the newly-appointed Lord Luó Fēng.
After hearing only a brief explanation among the cultivators, Yán Fēng and Léi Tíng could no longer contain their excitement. Their avatars in their home Source World immediately sought out Mólí Sā. “A Lord! The highest-level existence in the Infinite Primal Chaos Space!”
“Great, invincible, omnipotent.”
The last time Luó Fēng summoned Yán Fēng and Léi Tíng, he was already a Half-Primal Chaos Fusion Dao practitioner. Yán Fēng and Léi Tíng were incredibly flattered and even thought Luó Fēng might eventually transcend his current limits. But they never imagined… that Luó Fēng would become the greatest existence!
Countless Source Worlds contain opportunities left behind by Yuán, who would guide future generations. In the future, across numerous surrounding world clusters, it will be Luó Fēng guiding and welcoming new generations.
“The Origin Continent Source World is the Lord’s home,” they realized. “The entire Dark World Cluster is the Lord’s absolute territory, and naturally, our home Source World also belongs to the Lord. How could either of us be qualified to establish a nation or claim such a vast dominion?”
Upon confirming Luó Fēng’s current identity and status, they immediately recognized the implications. Having experienced several eras of the Source World, they didn’t genuinely care about establishing ancient nations, which they only did for the sake of resources. But now, Lord Luó himself represented the greatest opportunity!
They arrived at Hù Yáng City, and following the karmic connection, found themselves outside Mólí Sā’s cave abode. “Why would the ancestors of two great ancient nations come to see me?” Mólí Sā wondered, but out of courtesy, he promptly opened the entrance and welcomed them in.
“Yán Fēng (and Léi Tíng) greet you, Brother Mólí Sā.”
Yán Fēng and Léi Tíng bowed respectfully, adopting a very humble stance. Mólí Sā was momentarily stunned, then chuckled, “So, you two know already?”
“Of course we know,” Léi Tíng exclaimed excitedly. “A vast group of high-level Primal Chaos beings descended upon the Dark Saint Realm and openly declared everything! The entire Dark World Cluster will now be the absolute territory of the great Lord Luó Fēng! As members of the Lord’s home Source World, we feel immensely honored!”
“We both wish to offer our ancient nations, seeking only to serve the Lord,” Yán Fēng added. Mólí Sā blinked, listening.
His master hadn’t elaborated on the specifics, so Mólí Sā had initially assumed Luó Fēng was merely the Lord of the Source World. Now, it seemed his master was even more formidable than he had anticipated! According to Mólí Sā’s understanding, the Ancestor level represented the pinnacle among naturally born Primal Chaos beings, equivalent to the Lord level among cultivators, a level at which Senior Yuán once stood. And now, his own master, Luó Fēng, had reached this very level.
“It won’t be long before my master completely transforms the entire Origin Continent,” Mólí Sā stated. “If you don’t proactively offer your nations, these two great ancient nations will simply cease to exist anyway.”
“Yes, we understand,” Yán Fēng and Léi Tíng replied, listening obediently.
“I cannot make too many promises to either of you,” Mólí Sā told them, “but I can point you in a certain direction.”
Yán Fēng and Léi Tíng listened attentively. “Dì Chǔ is my master’s teacher!” Mólí Sā revealed. “His status is exceptional. If Dì Chǔ is willing to assist you, even slightly, your fate will naturally change.”
Mólí Sā knew well that his master’s subordinates were divided into three main factions. The first faction consisted of the Luó family and other Earthlings, whose elevated status was self-evident. The second faction comprised humans from the original universe, including the Original Ancestor, Chaos City Master, Zhēn Yǎn, and Great Axe, a group that also included Luó Fēng’s teachers. The third was the Origin Continent faction, centered around Mólí Sā, Dì Chǔ, and Zuò Shān Kè. Among these, Dì Chǔ was the only one the two ancient nation ancestors might have a chance to connect with.
“Even Dì Chǔ Yù, Dì Qīng, Dì Fū, and Dì Míng maintain very good relationships with my master,” Mólí Sā continued. Yán Fēng felt a pang of regret upon hearing this. These younger individuals held far more importance in Lord Luó’s heart than Yán Fēng himself! He had vastly underestimated Lord Luó’s potential, neglecting him early on. By the time he realized his mistake, Luó Fēng no longer required their assistance. “And they’re all from your Yán Fēng Ancient Nation!”
Léi Tíng, at this moment, was filled with intense regret; his own Léi Tíng Ancient Nation had no one close to Lord Luó Fēng!
“I’ve said what needed to be said. You two should manage your affairs accordingly!” With that, Mólí Sā rose, clearly indicating their departure. Yán Fēng and Léi Tíng obediently took their leave. Without the connections through Dì Chǔ and Dì Chǔ Yù, Mólí Sā might not even have granted an audience to Yán Fēng and Léi Tíng. This was because, among the three major factions designated by his master, Yán Fēng and Léi Tíng couldn’t even qualify for the ‘sub-core’ tier.
In the Source World of the Origin Continent, within the boundless Cosmic Sea, Luó Fēng gazed upon the three thousand original universes nestled in its deepest reaches.
“Rise!”
With a single thought, within the spacetime occupied by the original three thousand primitive universes, new ones began to form, eventually numbering a full hundred thousand! The interiors of these nascent primitive universes gradually began to evolve. Luó Fēng allowed them to develop naturally, except for one particular primitive universe, situated near the Milky Way Holy Land Universe, which he began to guide directly. This specific primitive universe was designated for the resurrected beings.
The Luó family and the human race of the original universe were highly efficient, having already finalized their respective resurrection lists. In contrast, on the Origin Continent side, Mólí Sā, Dì Chǔ, and Zuò Shān Kè were just beginning their efforts.
“Begin resurrection.”
When Luó Fēng initiated the resurrections, he retrieved entire galaxies from the River of Time and Space. It was still the Milky Way, still the Solar System, and still that familiar blue planet!
Countless beings were resurrected: the fallen War Gods, War Generals, and Warriors, alongside their families and loved ones. For Earthlings who lived in the same era as Luó Fēng, the resurrection threshold was minimal; all were resurrected, provided they hadn’t committed grave offenses.
A wave of energy swept through. On this blue planet, billions of lives were being resurrected. Luó Fēng even resurrected individuals he specifically cared about, such as members of the Fire Hammer Squad and other past heroes, along with their closest relatives who had perished during the Great Nirvana period. This resulted in beings who had died in different eras being resurrected into the same time. Grandfathers, fathers, and sons could now stand together, though sometimes the son might appear the oldest. After all, a grandfather might have died young during the Great Nirvana period, a father might have been a hero from Luó Fēng’s era, while a son might have lived a full life until old age.
A surge of energy. On countless other planets, lives were also being resurrected. Apart from Earthlings who lived concurrently with Luó Fēng, the resurrection thresholds for others were significantly higher. Even ordinary members of the Luó family, if they had simply died, would not be resurrected. For the vast human race of the original universe, the scope was immense, leading to an even higher resurrection threshold! Only exceptionally brilliant geniuses, heroes of outstanding contribution, and pivotal figures within the human race, along with their most cherished loved ones, would be resurrected.
“Hmm?”
A burly man, clutching a great axe, appeared in the starry void, looking around with a puzzled expression. “Didn’t I die?” he wondered. “This place… it seems to be the original universe.” Great Axe was utterly perplexed. The galaxies within the vast expanse he sensed, and the operation of rules within this primitive universe, all resembled his home universe.
“But there’s no virtual universe here, and many planets are devoid of life,” Great Axe mused, bewildered. “I was certain my soul had been annihilated, a complete death. As for ‘Universe Supreme Experts,’ they shouldn’t be able to be resurrected.”
With a thought, Great Axe swung his axe, tearing through the primitive universe’s membrane wall, and shot out of it. Upon exiting, Great Axe froze. In the distance, he saw one primitive universe, then another of similar size—the Milky Way Holy Land Universe—and beyond them, numerous other colossal primitive universes. Primitive universes were so immense that even from a great distance, they remained visible.
“The range I’m seeing contains a full twenty-eight primitive universes,” Great Axe mumbled, bewildered. This was not the world he knew. “Where exactly have I ended up?”
“Great Axe.”
A group of familiar figures flew in from afar. The Original Ancestor, Chaos City Master, Péng Gōng, Darkness, Huāng Jiàn, Lóng Xíng, Hóng… “You all?” Great Axe stared at these familiar beings. He even perceived that some of them were merely avatars of divine power, yet they were already far more powerful than him.
“Great Axe! Welcome to the new era!”
Chaos City Master’s smile was radiant. A Source World without a master would only evolve instinctively, leading to extremely low energy utilization efficiency.
“The Origin Continent is still too small,” Luó Fēng mused. With a single thought from Luó Fēng, the landmass of the Origin Continent began to extend and expand into the Cosmic Sea, with boundless energy surging forth to create vast new territories. This expansion caused the energy within the Cosmic Sea itself to become increasingly sparse.
Ultimately, the Origin Continent expanded a hundredfold in size! Ninety-nine percent of the Cosmic Sea was transformed into an energy desert, barely sustaining the energy supply for a hundred thousand primitive universes.
“Energy must be utilized where it is most needed,” Luó Fēng declared. He completely transformed the Origin Continent, then nodded in satisfaction. The Origin of the Source World possessed incredibly potent energy, far surpassing even Wū Lán’s energy reserves! Wū Lán maintained a body almost the size of a Source World, with its physical energy density at the highest level and its matter indestructible. A Source World, merely sustaining its own limited internal world, inherently possesses low energy density and ordinary matter. Therefore, over ninety-nine percent of its energy resides within its ‘Origin’. Even if a Source World undergoes cycles of destruction and rebirth, its Origin remains unscathed. Luó Fēng’s current configuration—maintaining a hundredfold enlarged Origin Continent and a hundred thousand primitive universes—still placed a very light burden on the Source World’s Origin, as its primary energy reserves were intended for nurturing life.
“With a master, the number of lives a Source World can nurture is a hundred times greater than one without a master,” Luó Fēng mused. The difference a master made was immense. “My Lord, the Blood Crane Territory refuses to return the occupied lands and has shown an appalling attitude, even destroying my avatar,” Chén Shí reported. Chén Shí relayed the message and transmitted a complete video recording of the incident to his Lord.
“Hmm?”
Luó Fēng frowned slightly. Within his own dominion, the long-established Mino forces had obediently withdrawn, but the comparatively younger Blood Crane Territory proved far more aggressive and domineering. “I’ve long heard the Blood Crane Territory is quite arrogant and aggressive,” Luó Fēng muttered. “I didn’t expect them to be so presumptuous even within my practitioner domain.” Luó Fēng was indeed annoyed. In his view, within the boundless Primal Chaos Space, only the naturally born Primal Chaos Life faction and the Ice Peak faction were worthy adversaries for the practitioner faction. As for the Blood Crane Territory, what were they compared to that?
“I’d like to see just how capable this Blood Crane Territory truly is,” Luó Fēng thought. Instantly, his main combat avatar soared out of his home Source World and sped directly towards the border.
