Chapter 1209: Calm the Waves | Sword Of Coming [Translation]

Sword Of Coming [Translation] - Updated on February 22, 2025

## The Sundering of Worlds

The Heavens.

The Earth.

Both act as verbs now, forced into motion.

In this dire hour, the warrior Xiaomo stepped into the void left by Bai Jing, his grip unwavering upon his lifebound sword, “Lotus Silk.” Still, he wrestled with the celestial behemoth, a fallen star drawn down to “fill the emptiness.”

Slowly, the star revealed its terrifying immensity, casting a perpetual twilight upon the mortal realm, as if a second, black sun had been born. Yet, as it neared the golden thread – the ‘Way of the Heavens’ – it seemed to shrink, until, no larger than a jeweled bead, it pressed against the shining line. A true celestial weight, it crushed down, eroding Xiaomo’s towering spirit and boundless sword intent with alarming speed. Even the unyielding form of an ancient demon, and the vast power of a fourteenth realm sword saint, proved fragile before this cosmic burden.

With a mournful sigh, the Lotus Silk shattered, and the star itself began to crumble. Xiaomo faced a choice: either resist to the bitter end, suffering a devastating cascade of fallen realms, and be reduced to scattered ashes, or withdraw, leaving his effort as a mere delay in the inevitable collapse. Another might have sought salvation, but Xiaomo, like Bai Jing before him, chose the path of shared sacrifice. His head lolling, his scarred neck on the verge of collapse, he looked down upon the mortal world.

Words failed him; his every thought consumed by the desperate act of holding up the sky. With a mere flicker of his lips, he offered a final, honest reply to the maiden with the sable hat, a single word, “Also.”

He also loved.

The moment of falling was nigh. To tumble from the fourteenth realm to the Ascended would trigger a swift descent through realms, a dance on the edge of oblivion.

Then, from the celestial tapestry, a river of shimmering talismans erupted, hurtling towards the breach in the golden thread with blinding speed. It encircled Xiaomo, lending impossible strength, dragging the golden line upwards. Renewed, his sword intent surged.

From the savage wilds, a wizened elder of Piercing Earth Peak, intoned, “Let Righteousness Flourish!” and unleashed a soaring dragon of elemental fire. Human magic now took wing as a draconic form.

In the same savage lands, Zhao Tianlai, Celestial Master of Dragon Tiger Mountain, summoned his divine avatar, gripping his Celestial Sword, and bearing the Celestial Seal. He guided a fire dragon heavenward, a bridge of fire and faith to fill the gap.

The Heavens were stalled.

The Earth slowly rose.

Across the boundless expanse of Azure Darkness Continent, a six-armed divine incarnation, emboldened by conflict, had already shattered five divine weapons and lost five limbs.

This female Taoist of the fourteenth realm, consumed by a bloodlust born solely from a “dislike” of Zhou Mi, risked her very essence.

Within the White Jade Citadel, from the furthest eastern edge, a Taoist official, his head adorned with a fish-tail crown, stepped into the fray. He cast a sidelong glance at the frenzied woman, surprised.

It was Jiang Zhaomo, the quietly ascended master of the Violet Tower, now standing at the fourteenth realm. He reached out a hand. “My Azure Darkness friend, sever the connection to this divine weapon. Lend it to this humble one.”

The woman hesitated, a rare occurrence. “If you use it for some underhanded trick against the Chen one, I’ll be cursed for eight generations! Tell me your true purpose!”

“Personal grudges are one thing; justice is another.”

Jiang Zhaomo removed his crown, tucking it into the sleeve of his robe. He said calmly, “Do not underestimate the White Jade Citadel.”

The woman’s face remained etched with scorn, but she refused to yield the ancient weapon. She would break it herself, destroy it, before she allowed those pompous Taoists of the Citadel the chance to do their dirty work.

Jiang Zhaomo kept his hand outstretched. “Besides, I do not wish to forever rely on another’s martial skill. Especially not when he is atop that mountain. I would gladly cast aside the limits of my godly state and pure martial skill. I would rather settle my grudges clean. Do not hesitate, Azure Darkness; this strike will be the culmination of Jiang Zhaomo’s martial arts, and it will not be weak.”

Jiang Zhaomo sighed inwardly, glancing at the thin golden thread below. *If there is an “afterward,” with such a foe, this life will have been worthwhile. What a pity, such a pity.*

Seeing her refusal, Jiang Zhaomo smiled, relinquishing his request. His avatar assumed a fighting stance; a Taoist Lord preparing to test the might of the heavens with a mortal’s fist.

As her arm shattered, the woman flung the divine weapon to Jiang Zhaomo, roaring with wild laughter, “Don’t just make it ‘not weak,’ make it *devastating*!”

Jiang Zhaomo grasped the blade, testing its weight with a flick of his wrist. A flicker of regret crossed his face. “Slightly light.”

The woman gnashed her teeth, preparing to bind her soul to the weapon. But Jiang Zhaomo, foreseeing her intent, stayed her hand. Then, weapon in hand, Jiang Zhaomo, who could almost be said to have become a god through martial arts, discarded his hidden martial skill as an ace-in-the-hole and cleaved, with a strike of unparalleled power, towards the golden thread emanating from the New Celestial Court. The blade, infused with all of his martial spirit, ripped through the shimmering, crystalline aura around the Way of the Heavens.

Shattering the barrier, Jiang Zhaomo’s face shone as the fish-tail crown fell away, hair whipping, eyes bright with exhilaration. He carved a minute fissure into the golden pillar of the Heavens.

Far to the north, in Black Tortoise Continent, an immense sword formation was being constructed, rivers of sword light rising from the land to feed its power.

Liu Jinglong, using his lifebound sword “Rule,” as the linchpin, and Bai Chang’s offered sword as the tip, had created, in a span of moments, a near-perfect replica of the earthly golden thread!

Jiang Zhaomo was unscathed; his avatar untouched. Yet his face bore a network of cracks, the scars of discarded martial power. He was drawn back by the armless woman, who, with sleeves billowing, said sternly, “That is enough. Had Bai Jing not created that opening, we could never have interfered in this battle of destiny.”

Though his power had diminished, Jiang Zhaomo’s spirit remained unbroken. “To act is not necessarily to succeed. To act, knowing there is no hope of success… that is the true spirit.”

The woman stared, surprised. “You just plucked a gold nugget from a steaming pile of dung!”

Jiang Zhaomo chuckled. “Spare me the vulgarity. Azure Darkness, if you were to go to the Magnificent Land, or any other continent, you would only feel stifled, and your spirit would grow dim.”

The woman said, “Perhaps. This is a chance to visit the Treasure Bottle Continent of the Magnificent Land. It would ease the mind of that Chen… mister. What do you say, Jiang Zhaomo?”

Jiang Zhaomo replied, “I will return to heal.”

Her gaze sharpened, she chose a landing spot, and transforming into a streak of rainbow light, plunged towards the mortal realm. She snatched at Zhou Haijing, a soldier bearing a spear who was ascending to heaven, telling the girl to be careful and not add to the problem, since this was not just cooking. Returning to the high alter with Zhou Haijing in tow, the girl glared in defiance. The woman released her, saying “Let it be. Whether we win or lose, at least we tried. Find peace in your heart.”

Zhou Haijing stuck her iron spear in the ground and the twelve fluttering silk ribbons gradually dissipated. The vertical eye on her forehead also rapidly faded.

The woman was looking at the young warriors of the inner Earth’s twelve divisions were standing together and not worried about being instantaneously killed.

The woman gave them a thumbs up as she saw their faces that were still youthful and full of vigor. “Young in age, but of great spirit. Great Splendor has been given luck.”

With a slight shift of her shoulders, two new arms of white lotus bloomed where the limbs had been. She spoke to herself: “Your young imperial teacher… is a person who almost never makes mistakes in perceiving our hearts.”

Earlier at the Middle-earth Confucian Temple, there was a secret riverside conference where the three founders were in charge of coming up with the questions and the Sage of Rites was the proctor and grader.

Besides the fourteenth realm cultivator, Yu Dou, Azure Darkness, and others from the savage land, they all had their own choices on the banks of the long river of time. However, two people were the exceptions.

Zheng Juzhong did not participate in the test, while Chen Ping’an was even more of an exception and was present at the riverbank but did not need to answer any questions?

Azure Darkness had a surge of inspiration and realized that the savage land’s Zhou Mi had certainly left a backhand in the mortal world!

In the vast area south of the Great Dugu River in Treasure Bottle Continent, as well as the Drifting Cloud Continent and the Paulownia Leaf Continent, the mountain and water gods and the golden statues of the lewd temples were simultaneously collapsing, as if connected by a golden thread. They couldn’t help but be sacrificed at this moment to entertain and cater to the Heavenly Court.

Not to mention those from the savage land, countless fragments of golden light turned into wisps of thread, rising like incense smoke. It was a true case of thinning the world to enrich oneself. This was Zhou Mi’s grand scheme.

All the demon cultivators who practiced the cloud and water Wen Mountain cultivation method created by Wen Hai Zhou Mi also plucked a wisp of incense and divinity from their hearts. Everyone had it. It was as if Zhou Mi was using their bodies to cultivate a trace of pure divinity and incense, and now it was the savage land’s turn to return the favor with interest.

Zhao Tianlai withdrew from the gap, his pure and undefiled Taoist body ablaze with fire, pulling out Xiaomo, who was covered in blood. The ancestral formation of the Celestial Master’s Mansion, with the Celestial Master’s Seal transformed into a vast land and the magic sword manifested as a green mountain, was instantly suppressed and crushed by the golden thread. Human power had its limits. Having lost two fundamental instruments that had been passed down for thousands of years, the Celestial Master, who had now fallen to the realm of an immortal, remained calm. A yellow-purple robe turned to ashes, and the Celestial Master’s body drifted down to the mortal world like an autumn leaf.

A snow-white ten-tailed celestial fox leaped out of the Celestial Master’s Mansion, gently catching the Celestial Master and the swordsman.

Even though Old Scholar had said that there was no need to go to the savage land, the Vice Sage still personally came to the savage land with his true form.

Bai Ze knew the intentions of this Confucian Temple sage but shook his head.

The Vice Sage watched the divinity flowing into the golden thread above and pulled at his collar again.

Chen Qingliu smiled and said “Killing anyone is still killing. I don’t mind working together, but we can calculate the price later.”

Feiran and Guike were both on edge, and Xie Shiji, who was already familiar with them, became unfamiliar at this moment.

Zheng Juzhong’s fourteenth realm yin spirit appeared out of thin air behind Bai Ze, forming a line with Chen Qingliu, who was confronting Bai Ze.

Since Bai Ze was an uncontrollable hidden danger in the future, it would be better to get rid of him sooner.

Unexpectedly, a great demon from the fourteenth realm, Chusheng, appeared behind Zheng Juzhong’s yin spirit with a little girl with pigtails. They were still in line.

Chen Qingliu smiled and said “Good, it’s getting lively. This is more like it.”

Zheng Juzhong ignored the two fourteenth realm cultivators behind him and said “Bai Ze, you are like a lucky person with good luck. Heaven and earth are on your side, that’s all. There are many such people in the world, they are just lucky. It’s just that you are especially lucky, so you have become the ‘Lord Bai Ze’ of this savage land. Zhou Mi doesn’t dare to eat you, and the Confucian Temple doesn’t dare to insult you. Everyone respects you because they are afraid of you becoming ruthless.”

Bai Ze laughed and said “I can’t refute that.”

Zheng Juzhong said calmly “Otherwise, in terms of talent, wrist, and spirit, you are very mediocre. Your heart is too soft, and you can’t be ruthless. You always want ‘everything to be good’. Do you think you can have everything you want? The savage land has been waiting for your feedback, but you have always refused to give it that expectation.”

“So you gave Zhou Mi a chance to take advantage of the situation. In the end, you allowed Zhou Mi to successfully bring the disaster to the ancient heavenly court.”

“And because of your inaction, you occupied the savage land, causing Chen Ping’an’s plan to pre-order and connect five worlds to resist the brand new pantheon’s ‘Great Five Elements’ to fall through. Bai Ze, you deserve to die.”

Bai Ze remained silent.

The great demon Chusheng, who was holding a cane, said anxiously “Bai Ze, don’t mess up your Dao heart. If you persist for a moment longer, Zhou Mi can hold the Heavenly Court pantheon and the mortal world will be settled.”

Whether the demon race could become the dominant force depended on this move! Once Zhou Mi’s plan succeeded, the sky would be the sky of the gods, and the earth would be the earth of the demons. Everything would depend on their mood, and all sentient beings would have to submit. Would the mortal world go down the same old path? For the demon race, which had been living in a corner of the savage land for ten thousand years, this was a brand new path to heaven!

Suddenly, Chusheng felt a chill down his spine. It turned out that Zheng Juzhong’s fourteenth realm yang spirit had already appeared behind him and Xiao Xuan. Therefore, from beginning to end, they were always in line.

Zheng Juzhong’s yin spirit suddenly smiled and said “But ‘Bai Ze, who deserves to die,’ was also planned for. If Bai Ze weren’t like this, how could heaven and earth see one of the greater pure human natures and create a second invisible ‘passage between heaven and earth’?”

The great demon Chusheng frowned. What did Zheng Juzhong mean by this?

Xiao Xuan said with a grin “You’re not smart enough.”

The great demon Chusheng’s mind was more drawn to Zheng Juzhong. There was a lot of pressure to be his enemy and face him on the Dao. The key was the third Zheng Juzhong, who was hidden somewhere.

Without warning, Xiao Xuan punched through Chusheng’s chest.

“Beast, do you know what kind of freedom I’m pursuing?”

Xiao Xuan grinned. The great demon Chusheng had already teleported tens of thousands of miles away, but Xiao Xuan followed closely. The surrounding heaven and earth were black, white, and colored, like a jumble of pieces that a child had casually put together, like crystal clear realms cut out by sword energy, blocking the horrified great demon Chusheng’s path. He roared, scolding “Xiao Xuan, are you crazy?!”

“I have the freedom not to become a pure swordsman, the freedom to betray Sword Qi Great Wall because I hate the Magnificent Land, and the freedom to kill anyone who gets in my way in the savage land. I always have the freedom to be Xiao Xuan!”

“Chen Qingdu, who controlled me for ten thousand years, doesn’t even care about me, so you bunch of kings want to control me too? Die!”

The great demon Chusheng, who had been called a “beast,” was now in a savage land’s “Hall of Heroes,” which he had personally opened up in his early years. Chusheng’s face was gloomy as he floated in the pitch-black, boundless void. The great demon was holding a cane in his hand, and he was extremely resentful in his heart. Chen Qingdu was really a… At first, he and the great demons, such as Zhu Yan, were worried that Xiao Xuan’s betrayal of Sword Qi Great Wall was a combined effort between Chen Qingdu and Xiao Xuan, but later Zhou Mi said no. Feiran and Guike also confirmed that Xiao Xuan had no intention of joining forces with the Magnificent Land. Among the savage land kings who wanted to attack the Magnificent Land again, Xiao Xuan would definitely be one of them… Chen Qingdu really gave the savage land the most incomprehensible and ill-mannered wild child? Was it that simple?

Xiao Xuan was standing on a high platform floating in the air. She frowned, realizing that there was an outsider who had sneaked in.

Zheng Juzhong stood next to her and smiled, saying “Why don’t you follow me to clean up the mess in the savage land, start anew, establish a religion, and be the ancestor?”

Bai Ze’s Dao didn’t match the savage land, but Xiao Xuan’s did.

Xiao Xuan sneered and said “Who will establish the religion and who will be the ancestor? Zheng Juzhong, who are you disgusting? You’re worthy of me assisting you? Ugh, I’m disgusted, I’m going to vomit…”

Zheng Juzhong said “I will establish the religion, and you will be the ancestor.”

Xiao Xuan was stunned, grabbing her pigtails with both hands. “What?!”

In an unnamed cave in the southeastern savage land, Liu Bai curiously asked “Senior brother, since we are all existences that have been separated from the teacher’s three corpses, then when the teacher returns to the mortal world, he should have a very good Dao body to bear his infinite divinity.”

Shouchen said “The Guike who was born from the manifestation of the savage land’s Dao has been divided and merged countless times by the teacher. He has already opened up a path to usurp the nest. Perhaps the study named Magnificent Land is the Dao field used to re-merge the Dao.”

Zhou Qinggao nodded and said “As expected of the teacher, who is old and calculating.”

Liu Bai felt strange and very uncomfortable. “I am a woman, and Guike is also a woman. Doesn’t the teacher feel disgusted?”

Shouchen smiled wryly and said “What is that compared to where the Dao exists?”

At the entrance of the cave, Zheng Juzhong had already waved his sleeves twice, seemingly dispersing something.

Wuying asked “Why didn’t you just kill Liu Xianyang as well?”

Zheng Juzhong’s true form smiled and said “Then we would really lose our humanity and become completely ‘divine’. Then what are we targeting Zhou Mi for? I guess Zhou Mi would be happy to see it happen and would take the initiative to choose the passage between heaven and earth to welcome ‘him’ to the new heavenly court. In that case, the three Daoist founders would disperse their Dao and Zhici would ascend to block the road, as well as Cui Xuan and Qi Jingchun’s joint layout. That would be the biggest joke in the world.”

Wuying was confused and said “I don’t understand.”

Zheng Juzhong said “If you could understand everything, would Zhou Mi have been lured into a trap?”

“For ten thousand years, who has been targeted by the three Daoist founders and so many fourteenth realm cultivators at the same time?”

“Just Zhou Mi.”

Wuying said “Then say something that I, Gu Can, can understand.”

Zheng Juzhong said “Cui Xuan asked me to protect him on this journey. It was indeed to protect ‘Chen Ping’an,’ but not the Chen Ping’an you see returning to the Magnificent Land, but the Chen Ping’an he had imprisoned.”

“The divine Chen Ping’an has imprisoned the human Chen Ping’an.”

Hearing this, Gu Can angrily said “That’s bullshit! Stop talking nonsense and making things up…”

Zheng Juzhong continued to say “From the time he was young, the two lines of good and evil in his heart were too close, almost one. The more familiar people are with Chen Ping’an, the less you can see it. That’s called the black lamp effect. In fact, Chen Ping’an himself can’t tell the difference between true humanity and divinity. Later, he finally found out, but he couldn’t help himself. Since he has become half of one, he will eventually have the burden of half of one.”

“Chen Ping’an has been pursuing ‘no mistakes’ since he was young. He thinks it’s a matter of course, and everyone should do the same. But he doesn’t know that since ancient times, only gods have such thoughts and actions. Cultivators are no longer human, which is what this situation is about.”

“Think about it. In his life, those few times when he was extremely angry, was it really because of ‘seeing evil with good’? Was it right and wrong, good and evil? Yes, but not entirely. The earliest one was in the rain in the Ni Ping alley, when the kiln worker almost strangled Song Jixin. Not long ago, on the banks of the river of time, he saw the new sword holder who had eaten the ‘sword spirit’ that had accompanied him through many difficult times. Chen Ping’an, who was mainly divine, knew the difference between the two too well, so he was angry. It was as if he was repeating the sentence, ‘Change it back,’ ‘Give it back’…”

“An extremely cautious orphan. All the uncontrollable anger in his life can be summarized in one sentence, ‘You are human, how can you do this kind of thing?!'”

Zheng Juzhong smiled and said “Wrong, terribly wrong. Precisely because you are human, you are so absurd and make mistakes. The entire mortal world is full of vitality because of ‘mistakes’.”

The mortal world is made up of countless mistakes, intertwined together, like grass on the wilderness, clustered and growing vigorously, giving rise to infinite barbaric and gentle vitality.

Is it true that the Dao is impartial, only tolerating the good that later generations summarize, but not tolerating the evil defined by human words?

“It is precisely because he has been like this since he was a child that even if divinity and humanity are separated, Chen Ping’an is still Chen Ping’an. That is why the Supreme Sage went to the Paulownia Leaf Continent to see for himself.”

“That’s why the Daoist Ancestor and Buddha went to the Huaihuang County town to see for themselves and to determine whether Cui Xuan and Qi Jingchun were right or wrong.”

“Cui Xuan went to Sword Qi Great Wall and borrowed two natal words to reverse the mountains and rivers. What he really reversed was the humanity and divinity of the young wanderer who used to travel among the green mountains and rivers.”

After saying goodbye to his senior brother Cui Xuan at the city wall, Chen Ping’an woke up from the “creation cave” at sea. Isn’t it a dream for the ‘god’ to walk in the world? How could there be no confusion between life and dreams?

The two golden threads in the sky and on the earth re-converged and collided again. It was easy to distinguish the nodes like the passage between heaven and earth. You only needed to look at the location where the fire rain erupted, and it would be clear at a glance.

The fire rain was getting closer and closer to the mortal world. It occasionally rose, but after all, it could not take the opportunity to turn the “heaven” into a permanent “sky”.

Zheng Juzhong looked up at the magnificent scene of the unprecedented change in ten thousand years. Outsiders could not imagine “Chen Ping’an”‘s situation, but he could barely understand a few points.

It must be much more painful and difficult than when the boy in straw sandals walked on the covered bridge.

After all, the boy was walking towards the future step by step, but now he was walking towards the end of his life’s path.

A person who has been so fond of the mortal world all his life.

In the end, he proved one thing to the outsiders in the heaven and earth who had been peeking into his heart for a long time and to the many people and things in his heart that he could not keep.

“I, Chen Ping’an of Ni Ping alley, have been a good person since I was a child.”

“I want to take care of Chen Ping’an for Cui Xuan. There can’t be too much divinity, and there can’t be too little humanity. As for whether Chen Ping’an is tired or pitiful, that’s not within my scope of consideration.”

“I used to play ten games of colorful clouds with Cui Xuan.”

“The reason why Cui Xuan lost to me was only because the chessboard was too small.”

The larger the chessboard, the higher Cui Xuan’s chess skills. The person who takes over the chessboard is the divine Chen Ping’an.

Therefore, in the battle with the immortal Han Yushu in the Paulownia Leaf Continent, the latter sacrificed the sect’s most important treasure, but “Chen Ping’an” was indifferent and didn’t care at all. He only said that the goddess was… defying her superiors!

In the battle to kill Jiang She together, was the “divinity” released by “Chen Ping’an” really more like an eternally rational and mindless god? Wasn’t he full of human emotions and desires?

Why did the so-called “divinity” released by the water mirror in the Great Splendor’s capital city attack the Confucian scholars the most fiercely?

It was precisely because the first ancestor of the military, Jiang She, knew this that he chose to restrain himself in the second half of the life-and-death battle, allowing the true human Chen Ping’an to kill him and usurp the throne with his sword.

Before that, how strong was Jiang She’s killing intent and intention, and he openly declared that he was the first person to kill a god in the mortal world!

Wuying was silent for a long time and asked softly “Why not wait a little longer? Wait for Chen Ping’an to build the ‘Great Five Elements’. I don’t believe you can’t help him resolve the fourteenth realm gift of the ‘Clam’.”

Zheng Juzhong was a little helpless. “It’s only because you are a direct disciple that I am so patient. Chen Ping’an wouldn’t ask such stupid questions.”

Wuying didn’t scold him for once.

Zheng Juzhong explained “If you want to meet on a narrow road and kill the strong with the weak, you have to imitate the method of killing Cai Jinjian in the small town back then. The key is a sudden surprise. There is no real foolproof plan. The two piles of drawings in the Imperial Teacher’s Office were deliberately shown to Zhou Mi to make him mistakenly believe that after a sword strike, both sides would start to accumulate strength and steadily deploy their troops, and one day they would fight a fair battle on the battlefield. Gu Can, let me ask you, is Chen Ping’an smarter than Zhou Mi?”

Wuying said “I think he is.”

Zheng Juzhong was also uncharacteristically angry. He also had a kind of obsessive-compulsive disorder and couldn’t stand fools the most.

Fortunately, Wuying added “Chen Ping’an is just at a disadvantage because he is young.”

Zheng Juzhong said “That sword, giving the sword, and taking the sword were all intentional by both sides. Zhou Mi first let Chen Ping’an lower his guard, mistakenly thinking that he could obtain more connections with the mortal world through Chen Ping’an’s bridge. Chen Ping’an, on the other hand, made Zhou Mi mistakenly believe that the final battle would be in a hundred or two hundred years. At the same time, what Zhou Mi was really connected to the mortal world was not a bridge full of secular human hearts, but a temple, the ‘earthly’ incense that had long been tempered by the divine Chen Ping’an, mixed with the infinite small, but infinite number of human hearts and humanity accumulated by Chen Ping’an before facing his inner demons and killing himself millions of times. Zhou Mi didn’t dare to refine it casually, and he couldn’t bear to abandon it casually. The New Heavenly Court was after all a complete pantheon that could not be destroyed by external forces, so he had to separate a little and forcibly stuff it into Li Zhen and a few others, wanting to wait and see. However, these new Supremes were only pseudo-Supremes. Those who were high above could see the mountains and rivers clearly, but those who looked up at the cliffs could only see the sky and clouds. The Dao was a line between heaven and earth, so he had to forcibly eat Li Zhen and a few others and scold Chen Ping’an for being a bastard. It was already Zhou Mi’s good cultivation.”

Sure enough, as Zheng Juzhong spoke.

The unstoppable golden thread of heaven suddenly had a slight and absolutely unreasonable wobble. Without any interference from human cultivators, there were “slight” sounds of porcelain cracking. The waves of the Dao reverberated like grand bells between heaven and earth. The already mighty fire rain became even more brilliant, and the divine nature that collided with each other was surging and intensifying. One golden thread instantly reached a very high level on the “earth.”

Zheng Juzhong smiled and said, as an aside, “Chen Ping’an said in Tuoyue Mountain that if he were Yuangxiong at this age, Yuangxiong wouldn’t be able to see how he gave the sword. He’s not bragging.”

“Gu Can, do you think what Cui Xuan really wanted to hide was the recognition of the old sword and Chen Ping’an?”

“Wrong, it’s the human and divine nature that Chen Ping’an has been accumulating and mixing together since he was an orphan. That’s what’s really scary about Chen Ping’an. It’s most appropriate to use the old sword’s ‘sword spirit’ to cover up this matter.”

Zheng Juzhong continued to say “We have been planning for a long time, and the real forehand and backhand are two sentences from the first of all the classics.”

“The first sentence of the first hexagram is ‘Heaven moves with strength, and a gentleman never ceases to strive for self-improvement.'”

Back then, in the Lizhu Cave, there were ambushes everywhere, setting up Qi Jingchun’s inevitable death. But he didn’t expect that the two senior brothers were already considering how to solve the dead knot of the mortal world.

They wanted to sweep away the ancient heavenly court ruins that were like eternal dark clouds in the mortal world.

Without extreme effort, nothing can be achieved. But it’s not enough to rely solely on Cui Xuan’s practical knowledge. Calculating human hearts to the extreme will lose the heart of heaven.

No matter how brilliant your opening is and how ambitious you are, it will always be biased and not worthy of the great Dao. At least Cui Xuan’s practical knowledge has only been promoted for a hundred years, not a thousand years.

With the great trend approaching, Cui Xuan was running out of time.

“The second hexagram, ‘The terrain is Kun, and a gentleman carries things with virtue.’ is the answer to solving this great problem, the only solution. Gu Can, can you recite it?”

Gu Can noticed the declining trend of the golden thread on the earth, and he was so anxious that he said angrily “I can recite your mother…”

Zheng Juzhong laughed. There was a limit to forbearance anyway, and you’re just a useless piece of trash now that doesn’t affect the overall situation.

Fortunately, Gu Can quickly changed his tone and recited the book like a child in a village school. Soon, he recited “Yellow clothes are auspicious, and the text is in the middle. Dragons fight in the wild, and their way is exhausted…”

Gu Can suddenly closed his mouth and said in shock “Did you or Cui Xuan agree on this with him in advance?!”

Zheng Juzhong shook his head and said “No, he thought of it himself. Or it was a communion between heaven and man after he proved the Dao and ascended.”

The first disciple of the Great Ancestor in Tuoyue Mountain, Yuangxiong, was originally named “Yuanji” by Bai Ze. The little Taoist who followed his master and walked through thousands of mountains and rivers with a Chinese violin was named “Huangshang.”

The last true dragon in the world landed on the south bank of Treasure Bottle Continent and fled north, taking a dragon path and falling in the Lizhu Cave. This was called “Dragons Fight in the Wild.”

The ghost that had wandered in the Great Shou Dynasty for many years, carrying the 7,000-year Heavenly Punishment and suffering for 3,000 years, “Clam,” ushered in a disintegration of the army. “Their way is exhausted.”

Gu Can was sad and said “The Daoist Ancestor also didn’t say anything and didn’t dare to be the first in the world.”

Zheng Juzhong smiled and said “It’s saying it to you, not to certain people.”

In the end, he was a scholar who hadn’t gone to school for a day and was ultimately a bookworm who hoped that others wouldn’t be disappointed for too long.

Zhou Mi from the Savage Land’s Wenhai, Chen Ping’an from the Falling Mountain.

Before this passage between heaven and earth, in the process of them gradually becoming half of one, what was the real battle of the Dao between them?

To use humanity to give birth to the most divinity.

Therefore, they ascended.

To use divinity to give birth to the most humanity.

Therefore, they were on the earth.

The three Daoist founders dispersed their Dao to suppress Zhou Mi’s desire to absorb more humanity from the mortal world.

The Taoist immortal Wei guarded the door to prevent the divine Chen Ping’an from becoming more divine.

After returning to the Magnificent Land, those particularly obvious anger, the sadness with deep attachment, and the gentle eyes or words were the humanity born from divinity.

Gu Can asked a very important question “What will Ruan Xiu do?”

Zheng Juzhong said “It depends on what Qi Jingchun and Cui Xuan talked to her about back then.”

Gu Can was silent for a long time and asked the last question “Did you ask Chen Ping’an for his own wishes? Did you care about his thoughts and feelings?”

Zheng Juzhong gave an answer that seemed to have many possible interpretations “It’s hard to say.”

Back then.

The two senior brothers joined forces and talked face-to-face with Zhou Mi from the Paulownia Leaf Continent on a boat in Tao Ye Du.

Before Ruan Xiu ate all of Li Liu’s divinity, they came to the foot of the Shenxiu Mountain. The words “Heaven Opens Divine Beauty” were carved on the cliff between the mountains.

Ruan Xiu sat on the horizontal stroke of the word “Heaven” at the highest point and said calmly “Mr. Qi, I don’t want to see him.”

Qi Jingchun smiled and said “I know. That’s why I brought him here.”

Ruan Xiu thought for a while and nodded.

Qi Jingchun turned to look at Cui Xuan beside him. Senior brother, what do you think? Is my popularity better than yours?

Cui Xuan was expressionless and unmoved.

Among the few fellow disciples back then, you, Qi Jingchun, were the most competitive. You’re serious, stubborn, and you have to win, you have to be the first. In short, you’re narrow-minded.

While Qi Jingchun was talking to Ruan Xiu, Cui Xuan thought of some past events and some scenes. It also had something to do with Ah Liang.

The scruffy little man advised him with a grin “Little Qi, your drinking skills are very good at the table, you’re definitely the first, but your alcohol capacity is a little lacking, not to mention the first, you’re almost at the bottom.”
